And when ever someone says something bad about me I think about it for weeks. I don't know why everyone calls me s freak or weird when all I try to do is blend in. I've got type 1 diabetes and I'm a "freak" for having that and people have threatened to take my insulin pump off me . And people call me fat even tho I'm not but I still don't eat when they call me fat. I care to much about what people think because I never feel good enough

Oh another thing. Don't be too worried about your weight or shape. Most of the people especially girls think they aren't looking how they should be. And want to look like models from magazines, tv shows etc. Don't let them fool you. Because what the most people seem to forget is that most of the models and such have a special unhealthy diet or are underweight. Don't be an example of that, and don't be what others tell you to be. Just be yourself. Don't worry about models and such. Your perfect just the way you are.

Isn't it weird and bad that such people are called models? Cuz model means example, and it's like whoever thought of calling these people models was trying to tell the world that we should all look a certain way. And I think that's horrible. Just a thought.

I can relate to this so much. When I was in middle school I was wearing band shirts and liked to wear dark clothes and at that age people didn't really care. I was the horse crazy girl who had a unique style but in high school things changed a little. I'm naturally blonde but I wanted a change before high school so I dyed it black, I kept the same style that I used to go with in middle school however it had gotten a bit more mature and I had started to wear more makeup. Sure I had always been a loner and been the outsider, but I had never really been bullied. I do have depression and anxiety and I had it back then too but that's besides the point. When I started high school all of the people started off friendly. But they would always comment the way I dressed, they thought that my heavy music taste for metal and screamo was strange for a teenage girl like me, they probably saw me as some kind of "emo" kid. I fell for the peer pressure, to be able to fit in and be one of them I started to wear colorful and "preppy" clothes and makeup and be like them. I even stopped listening to the music I loved and started to listen to things just because others did it, but I always used to listen what I wanted to when I was alone and when I felt I needed it the music I love has been my way of coping with mental illness and as I didn't listen as much to that anymore and listened to music that didn't mean anything to me made me feel very empty. I didn't feel like me wearing preppy and pretty clothes. So in my second year of high school I slowly started to change back to what I felt was more me but I didn't go all the way at once. I started wearing darker clothes and I refused to wear skirts and dresses, and I got my layered hair back. During the winterbreak I decided that I wanted to be myself and I didn't want to be what everybody else wanted me to be. I learned how to do my makeup until I was pleased with it myself, I listened to the music I wanted and after the first year trying to be someone I wasn't had made my depression and anxiety seem worse. But I felt myself coming back and it felt good. But that also came with a prize the "friends" I had left me one by one, people stopped inviting me to parties and at the end I was alone. It made me very depressed and I had a very dark period where I started to do harmful things to myself and I felt like I didn't want to live anymore. But despite all this I prefered being myself and be alone than pretending to be someone I wasn't and have friends. But things did get better after all I may not have made friends in my school but I made friends that liked me for who I am and I even found my current boyfriend witch I have a distance relationship with, but we've been dating for over a year now and i couldn't be happier. So yes as you said, always be yourself even if others don't like it there will always be some people that will still like you for you. Keep these people close to you and be thankful that you have them. Update: The guy I was dating isn’t alive anymore due to an accident because of an irresponsible illegal driver, he and his horse got launched into the ditch and the horse had to be put down immediately and Heinz fought for long and despite good prognoses he passed away. So life is a little hard rn... /The"Emo"Kid xD

THIS! When I was younger I always wanted to please everyone else. I did what other people expected from me. I never really stood up for my opinion, I just went with everyone elses. But while growing older I stopped doing that. More and more I was standing up for my own opinion and for what I wanted myself. I lost friends when I stopped doing what they wanted me to do or stopped acting like they told me to act. But honestly I don't need friends who only wanna hang out with me when I act like that want me to act. Or when I always agree with their opinion and can't say my own opinion. I'm now 26 and I'm always standing for what I believe in. But I also accept the opinion of others. I think that's very important. Love your videos btw!

I cared so much about my appearance for most of my life. After struggling with anorexia I discovered CrossFit for me. My body turned really sporty and I stopped caring what other people told me: stop training, else you'll look like a male, or: being strong isn't ladylike, stuff like that, but the strength in my body really strengthened my mind.

I just subscribed to you recently (yesterday actually), but I already love your account. You seem like such a nice, genuine person and your videos are so uplifting and enjoyable and I just really love watching them. You give such great advice and I'd like to say thank you for making this particular video. I've struggled with this for the longest time and it has really affected me a lot. I find myself getting so closed off and I second guess everything I do. I get too inside my head and I don't even allow myself to feel free or do what I want because I'm so concerned with what others think of me. It's the new year though and I plan on working on this and a lot of other things about myself so that I can truly be the best and happiest verison of me. I just wanted to share that with you I guess, I hope you have a good day!!

This is an old video but you are the first KZbinr I've genuinely related to. I mean your videos are funny and I find myself laughing along when you and Moon are together because it's literally how me and my friend are together. But I understand when you say that people need to take control of their decisions and I've always wanted to try different fashion styles to see what I really like but have never been brave enough because of back in my high school days you would be judged on what you wore so I played it safe and have basically worn jeans and a tshirt (jumper for the winter) since then. And thanks to you Taz I've gone and bought myself some dungarees because I've actually always wanted a pair and they were on special too so that was amazing, what a bargain ;) But thanks for your videos, they're really so good and you should keep pushing yourself out of your comfort zone just like I will 😁

I find this very important to talk about, and as always taz your videos are very helpful and i thank you for posting them. In middle school i was very different from who i was in high school and college, I've always cared what people think and i think the only time I didnt was high school because many peers were accepting. My only thing is a comment i think its import to care about what your directors, teachers, coaches and bosses think, these are people who will criticize you actively but are workinh to guide and help you understand and encourage you to grow. After being in an abusive relationship almost 2 years ago i shut down and didnt talk about what had happened due to yes the fear of others reactions. I was worried about their thoughts on me for not seeing the signs until it became very toxic that it was toxic. And because of that situation acting as a whole has become very anxiety inducing because revealing myself and being vonrible is very scary after abuse. Yes im worried about what people think but i also want to know what they think about my art and music and poetry and writing, i want their feedback. But what scares me is actions.

ITZCJ Lifestyle They don't hate you . They dislike themselves! I like dressing different from the people in my environment, it makes me UNIQUE and you don't want to be like anyone else. Be yourself and your beautiful the way you are.

If you've changed and they still see you the same I believe you shouldn't change because no matter what they'll call you weird. You're the one they've chosen to pick on. So be yourself, meet people that are similar to you (people you'd like and relate too), have fun doing the things you like. You can't keep stressing yourself over other people's ignorance and stupidity
