i think colour analysis is a great way to start if you feel like style is overwhelming and to become more confident in your choices. i do not however think it´s that deep. if you feel good in blue, you will look good in blue. Fashion is 70% attitude

Love the decluttering. About the categories, i think it would be helpful if you sort your clothes in categories- pants, dresses, shirts etc... If i remember correctly from the Marie Kondo show, best is to pull all the stuff form specific category out on the bed to actually see how much you have of the same category (how many white t-shirt you have, how many blue jeans etc. ), and that helps to cut down more.

For other people decluttering, Dana K. White uses the question "If I was looking for this, where would I look first?" and I've found that really helpful with both clothes and objects because it takes out the "sparks joy" part which was really stressing me 😅 if I held something up, and had no idea where I would even look, it no longer had a place in my apartment

We're all guilty of feel-good shopping. But if you learn to change the reward formula to feel good on savings, you will have money to spare and a lot less clutter. I went through a phase of feel good shopping in my 20s but when things started finally falling in place and I started saving, I switched of feeling good about not buying things and minimalism. I'm in my 40s now and I only have historic clutter (because I've gone a little bit extra on the other side and I don't throw away things either). I'm ready for the climate apocalypse because I can live on little now LOL

Keep the yellow suit jacket and khaki trousers. Gutted to miss out on the cardigan. You know you don't have to wear the clothes on to sell on vinted. Just keep it on the hanger and take a photo of the front and back and any flaws. There are some odd people on there who like those sort of pictures. About 15 years ago, i bought this lovely emerald strap dress with voile and sequins, and matching satin block high heel shoes with a fake emerald stone in like a buckle. It was at a boutique in Eastbourne (when i was visiting my sister when she came home from the Netherlands for a holiday). It was meant to be for a first second date as they went away on holiday. Got back to London and i just chickened out of wearing it for the date and they have been sitting in the cupboard since. No way i can wear it now but it does look lovely about size 6-8/ S. Should i sell it?
