No student should feel unsafe going to school. It’s an escape from home life for a multitude of kids. My condolences and heart goes to the parents of the victims, the injured, and every single student, teacher, administrator. and security guard, that will be scarred from the image of someone murdering innocent people they spent every day with.

This is a terribly sad story but school for a escape for people with bad home lives Is not realistic and more than likely the bad home life and bad school life is the reason for the shooting because kids are honest in what they think and have no filter so more than likely he was bullied based on his life in general

Exactly, except society now hates traditional families and traditional marriage and promotes sexual perversion. Good is becoming evil and evil is becoming good. (Edit): The root of what I am saying is this: society has been leaning more and more towards the idea that humans are nothing but just another form of matter. All of their beliefs are established upon this flawed foundation. One of the core beliefs being that we should follow our heart and do what we FEEL like doing. Thus you are starting to see the consequences of this more and more. Less disciple, higher depression rate, higher suicide rate, more violence, more hatred, and highly sensitive & emotional people. @D London is right, kids need more love. True love consists of parents raising and disciplining their kids properly. However, that's looked down upon today. Why? Because what society is learning towards today is tolerance under the guise of "love".

We seriously need to re-examine the factors causing these shootings, in only 2 decades they’ve gone from an unthinkable tragedy to something it feels like we hear about every year or two. This isn’t the time anymore for saying how terrible this is, it’s the time to put some real work into looking into the mirror and seeing what we as a country are doing to mislead the next generation. For the sake of everybody in the future…we can’t just blame the children. We RAISE the children. And if a country is raising children that are more and more willing to shoot others in mass amounts, that’s on us. No more scapegoats.

There are also comments of "How could anyone do this???" Most of the time it is family not paying attention to them or giving them support and love the need, students around them either bullying or ignoring the student, mental health issues that were there first but exacerbated by the circumstances they were raised in. I was just watching last night actually "The Insane Case of Randy Stair" who was a young adult went into a supermarket a killed his workers there. The main reason he came to this conclusion of killing others was hatred of his own life and his family, he would constantly leave clear signs (some times physical signs purposefully laid around the house) but his parents never noticed. He documented his plan and why he wanted to kill people and over and over he stated "mom, dad I left you signs for years but you never paid attention to them or to me". Mostly it is loneliness and feeling that your life is pointless and going no where, no one cares about you and you dont exist to the world, they want attention they were never given and sadly they will go to extremes to finally get that attention even if its from something horrific.

The real question is where did he get a handgun that's an automatic

*spoiler* It will be his parents gun.

It's always sad to hear tragedies such as this and my heart goes out to all the family's involved. My question is how did a 15 year old get his hands on the firearm in the first place. Can't buy one, so it had to of been stolen from his parents or a friend's parents. If that's the case why was it not secured and locked away. Correction to the media. The firearm was not an automatic, it was a semiautomatic. Know what your talking about before you open your mouth. Prayers.

In China one man came to school and killed about 40 kids with machete. It's not even a problem to make one without saying that many people do not keep gardening tools locked in safe. Gun here was just a more convenient tool. The problem is more social.

It sounds like they acted well on the evacuate. Having a plan is key to any success in a tragedy like this. Think all the way back to Columbine going forward. So many changes in school design and programs on active shooters. God bless those with friends or family... I hope they find peace soon.

Wow what kind of heart breaking things a child must be going through to do something as this. Our prayers are with them . :(

"automatic handgun". Not likely. Try 'semi-automatic". Just more ignorant reporting.

Glock18 is automatic So yeah, it is likely

Acquiring a g18c is extremely hard. Could be a glock with a switch
@josephhodges98192 жыл бұрын
Hello, shitbird it is only ignorant reporting if it is wrong and a switch allows it to be used as an automatic handgun. SMH shitbird.

It was a SEMI-AUTOMATIC hand gun. You literally just misreported and are telling ANYONE who watches this video that this 15 year old was shooting an AUTOMATIC HANDGUN , which is a machine gun…… that is not what happened. I watched the briefing the Undersheriff gave that you were taking all your notes from , you guys asked what kind of gun he used and the undersheriff told you that it was a SEMI Automatic hand gun. You might not think that is a big deal , but that is a HUGE point to misreport on……
