Neighbor who was outside testifies at trial day 3 for Samantha Woll's alleged killer

James Griffioen, a man who lives in the same Detroit community where Samantha Woll lived and was killed, testifies Thursday at the trial of the man accused of killing Woll. Michael Jackson-Bolanos is standing trial for murder and other charges in June in connection with the Oct. 21, 2023, stabbing of Woll at her home.

Honestly the neighbor sounds kinda guilty….. the defendant is much less jumpy and nervous. One sign of guilt is excessive talking and information. Along with some other things … seems like defense is trying to put some light on this guy. Also, I just love when the comments show their racism front and center because a dread headed attorney who doesn’t speak like a Chad doesn’t mean that this is his “first rodeo.” Yikes. What about the x man who called the cops on himself saying he thinks he did something to hurt sam? What about the man she met the night of her death and was dancing with him, exchanged phones with each other and supposedly he claims to have been one number off but does admit to trying to call and text her. Yes, Bolanos was in the area that night up to no good, looking in vehicles, but that still doesn’t make me think he had reason to kill Sam, especially in this horrific kind of way.

I respect every defense attorney who has defended a client for murder. It’s a tough job and most people can’t do it. However this cross on the neighbor is EXACTLY why people do not want to testify. The defense asked specific questions and wanted simple answers and wasn’t having all the fluff he was attaching to his answers. This is a mans life he’s defending. There's Something "OFF" with this guy, James. He's Super Hyper, Can't Focus longer than a 2 yr old, Appears very Odd to say the least. Funny, he was out there around the Exact Time Sam was Murdered. Says how emotionally wrecked he was, yet he says it was not his problem and kept walking. James gives me the Creeps! Why does he leave his mouth open with that Blank Stare? He cannot even Answer the Defense Questions, he just Rambles On and Can't Believe the Judge isn't instructing him to Answer the question and Stop Rambling After. A lot of the times, the one suspect who is Over -Willing to Help Police, is the Real Killer! This Case has Reasonable Doubt Written All Over It. There are way too many suspected men who had the chance to Murder Sam. The way she died, seems Very personal, like a jealous rage or a violent rape. Michael is Not Guilty of Killing Sam, there is Zero Evidence to Convict him.

I don’t think people should blame the defense attorney, I immensely dislike his style/tactics, but he is defending his client, which is his job. The prosecution could have objected if they felt the defense attorney was being hostile towards the witness. It’s the prosecution’s job to prove the case, and why they would bring this neurotic witness to the stand… when it’s obvious the defense attorney would chew him up, and spit him out is beyond me. All murders are awful, but I’m Jewish, and the death of this lovely Rabbi especially hurt’s my heart, but it’s important to the justice system to remain objective. I just hope the prosecution steps it up, and proves their case!
