I do agree it was powerful, but it didn't end responding to the man's true issue: he does believe in a heaven and hell, he just can't believe there is any way Hitler could get into heaven (so the crux of the disagreement is a matter of conditions, not of the existence of something) . Instead of responding to this crucial point, and giving a proper justification, Cliffe goes on a rant about the atheistic POV, even though the gentleman doesn't clearly stated he wasn't an atheist. I'm sorry but with all due respect, Cliffe didn't honor his interlocutor, at least not this time. There are ways to defend the Christian POV about justification here, and justification is actually exactly what ended up tearing the catholic church in pieces around Luther's time. This is not a trivial issue and merits a proper response.

Funnily enough, I have thought about that example that he brought up about the Evil Mustache man. It's possibly one of the ultimate tests to see how much someone wants the sinner to pay rather than forgive. I don't often comment, but I get where the last guy is coming from, in a way. It'd be a tough pill to swallow to hear that there's a possibility that someone who you view as an absolute monster (Adolf Hitler, Stalin, Mass Murderers, Thieves, the whole disgusting lot.) might make it into heaven if they truly feel bad and repent of what they did. It's tough to know that the guy who hurt your family member or friend can make it. and it hurts more to know that people who you thought were good can't make it. It's a tough pill to swallow on all sides. But the truth is, it's a necessary one. we can only see the outside and hear what others tell us, or read in the papers or see on the news. we're not the ones who can see hearts and minds. We're ultimately not the ones who are in the judge's chair. God, the one who can see the actions, hear the words, read the heart and mind, can and will be the only judge. 🤔 Hmm is your "opinion" with regards the "right" God subjective or objective?? Can we ground morality in "any" God or just the particular one YOU determined is the "right" one out of the many thousands man has invented ?? If your answer is the latter then in actuality its *YOU* and YOUR SUBJECTIVE OPINION that is determining morality dear. if your answer is the former, then asserting objectivity to any moral claim based upon a "God" becomes a completely vacuous useless concept 👍 The claim that theistic morality is somehow "objective" is ridiculous. Theists are merely substituting their own subjective moral standards with the morals standards of the god they subjectively determine represents the "correct objective" morality. 🙄🤔

To defend her moral relativism, the first girl said “yeah, but I have more people behind me.” So she’s not just appealing to her own opinion, then. She’s appealing to a standard. In this case, social contract theory. So she’s either confused, lying to us or lying to herself.

@@j_p_jr.487 it was not so much audible as I was watching a video or listening to music outside my head. it is very weird to explain. It was also not my thoughts, it was also not the voice of the "devil". It was clear. All I know is, after that, I cracked. As if everything I knew turned around. All I know is I was laughing/crying at the same time uncontrollably and felt this tingling sensation through my body, and a warmth. Everyone I tell thinks I went through a manic episode. All I know is, for me it changed everything.
