CLIFFLIX - "Fantasmic!" in Disneyland - 2023

This is my edit of "Fantasmic!" in Disneyland. It was recorded on two different trips. It was produced in 8k and recorded using my "Deep Space Audio" technique. Let me know what you think of it in comments down below!

I just noticed there was 2 different footages. In the shot with the mark twain boat i couldn't see woody in scene one, but when it changed, he appeared! Amazing footage! Loved this, i guess this was filmed before the dragon was sadly removed due to the fire. Thank you for making me re live the amazing show. It felt like i was actually there! Loved it!!!

I have no team,..I'm just a lonely a one man band! ;-) I was just in Toronto earlier this year and I was soooooo EXITED to fly into "YYZ". So much so that I had to take a selfie at the big "YYZ" letters in the airport. (I'm a huge RUSH fan)

The Pirates of the Caribbean scene just encompasses the swashbuckling adventure feel of the films and the music is phenomenal. I wish it did feature a little more Barbossa. But it’s always a treat to see Curse of the Black Pearl get some recognition.

This one scene completey smashes ours in Florida. We get Alladdin swinging one time and California gets multiple swings, multiple tight rope walks with sword fighting, bungie slinging up and down and upside down hanging stunt. I dont know...but I'd guess the California version cost per night is considerably higher than Orlando's

@@CLIFFLIX I think they’re about the same budget, but I think the heroes scene was a little short notice considering the fact they just got back after two years of quarantine. However, nothing compares to Disneyland’s Dragon, hopefully they’ll repair her soon!

That Pirates scene IS amazing. If I was Disney's legal team, I'd be sweating every performance. Even with all the safety features, it's STILL a dangerous act! In Florida we have a cool scene where Aladdin swings from right to left....one time. ;-)

Thank you for making your outstanding production of Disney's nighttime shows. This show is one of my favorite attractions in all theme parks along with Sesame Street 4D, Shamu at SeaWorld San Diego, and World of Color shows. I'm sad to see that Fantasmic is going on hiatus after the fire incident and Pirates of the Caribbean segment retiring to let Peter Pan sequence return. But I'm really happy that the show is about to reignite the night on May 24, 2024.

I've been a megafan from the first time I saw it, on its 4th night ever playing back in 1992, and this is, by far, the best produced video of "2.0" that I've ever seen. Wonderfully done, Cliff! ... I hope you get the opportunity to film the relaunch version in May!

Everytime I watch the show, 12:00 always gets me...and it seems like everyone else too. Anyway, the audio and editing is amazing. I can really hear the bass and the power of the orchestra and vocals. I love how even at the end at 26:03, you panned the trumpets left, then right. Amazing work, CLIFFIX. 😄

Stellar video as usual! For me, the original Fantasmic! will always be the superior version, with Murphy, of course. I just loved the Peter Pan segment so much more. “I see the Light” is one of my favorite songs, but I feel like Snow White being at the end of the Princess segment Fed into the Evil Queen segment so much better, and having that fun transition removed was SO disappointing!!

No more moving side fountains (or in this recording(s), non-existent) is a pain. They never restored them after the show returned and eventually switched them to static fountain heads. Great recording and production however! Love the finale.

This is an amazing video as always. My only gripe about the Disneyland Fantasmic is that the crowd always seems so lackluster :/ idk if it’s noise cancelling or what but every video I watch of Disneyland the crowd is so quiet and hardly cheers except for a few people. Conversely, every show I’ve seen from WDW people are losing their MINDS cheering and clapping and that’s what brings the vibe and fun in my opinion. Idk just seems strange. Maybe the smaller crowd?

I noticed what you’re talking about but Disneyland crowds are also mostly locals who probably see the show every week. Not that they don’t like it anymore, they just don’t go full out screaming for Mickey or do the wave in preparation for the show. Many people aren’t on vacation, Disneyland is a hang out spot. Different clientele. Now if you wanna see Disneyland folks go crazy, go to an opening or closing night of a show, they will stake out spots by 3pm and chat it up with tech CMs, it’s like a little party.

Wow....you were there on that historic day in Disney history! Well?...I hope they rebuild "Murphy" next year. She is really the highlight of the show. However, this show is expensive to opperate every day and making a new dragon will be another expensive cost. And...its happening at a time when Disney just can't afford it. Sadly,...Disney has much bigger problems to deal with right now. :-(
