The fifth annual Climate Forward conference, sponsored by USC Wrigley Institute for Environment and Sustainability and USC Dornsife Center for the Political Future (CPF) in collaboration with POLITICO, was held at USC Town and Gown on Thursday, April 4, 2024. This conference focuses on finding practical solutions to climate change and identifying the political obstacles to implementing those changes. This year's conference theme was "Climate at the Crossroads," and explored policy from the past that informs the climate policy of the future and what happens after the election as the country heads towards 2024 and beyond.
Following the "Climate on the Ballot: 2024" panel, USC students JJ Flores and Leah Tieger shared how CPF and USC Wrigley impacted their academic and professional journeys.
Featuring:
- JJ Flores: USC Undergraduate Student, International Relations and Sustainable Urban Planning
- Leah Tieger: PhD Candidate, English Department, Creative Writing Track
