Outstanding filming. You seem very natural at altitude. I have climbed Island Peak a few years back and I was gasping for air. You make it seem so easy. I can’t wait to see you bag some 8000m peaks. I have been dreaming about going back to bag this peak and your video may have just inspired me to go back in 2023. Thank you.

There are certain tools ( like altitude tents) that can help you prepare for such heights. Yes 6.5k meters above sealevel is tough. but it is doable

How did you find the difficulty of Ama dablam? Ive just climbed island peak and im already planning my next climb, it would be a dream to climb ama dablam. Would you say its too big of a jump in technical difficulty to go from island peak to ama dablam, or is it doable?

Hi Pema, my kids and I are big fans of your videos. My 9 year-old daughter seems particularly inspired! Quick question, did you or someone in your group use Acrux AR boots for this climb? I thought I saw the characteristic “red toes” in one of your shots. I have those boots but figured they wouldn’t be warm enough for Ama Dablam. Thanks!

HI, I am seriously thinking about this trek but have no true mountaineering experience. You made it look somewhat easy and has prompted my interest again to climb it. I fell for the mountain when on the Everest Base Camp trek. Can you please tell me how difficult it really was and how much training/experience is needed? Thank you!!!
@philippechassot6666 Жыл бұрын
Really more than you think ! With no Mountain experience, you have à few steps to do before. But those days, people don't want to take time and learn... Alpinism is not a to do list...

Been to these parts 4 times but I wonder if there are any companies who are trying to invent some chemicals to neutralize the stench of these camps. It really distracts from the beauty of the high peaks. It can't be too hard. The hygiene of thee camps surely has the potential to infect the climbers.
