Phenomenal footage! That climbing looked like some serious hard work. It looks like you are trying to climb on ball bearings on a ridiculously steep slope. The crater footage where your colleague was able to point out the dyke and explain how the groundwater exasperated the eruption was really cool. I would love to do an expedition like this.

I had to put the camera down during the super steep parts. Very little grip and nothing solid to hold onto. There's still much to learn about Ruang, but we're steadily piecing the puzzle together.

Me sorprende el nivel de destrucción, al menos evacuaron la isla a tiempo o sino habria victimas mortales. La erupción fue nivel VEI 5 o 6 y estuvo casi a nivel del la erupción del Volcán Calbuco en Chile. Saludos desde Perú 👍.

It's almost end of the year. Please be careful if you have plans to climb volcanos in indonesia. Right now 8 volcanos have starting active again. Some keep doing eruptions and the earthquake keep rising.

The crater on google earth was not that large prior to the eruption. Id say it is like 3-4 times larger than it was,
