How does this not have more views?! This is some of the best stratovolcano eruption footage I've ever seen!! Absolutely incredible!!

I agree with this sentiment. Especially true for his Vanuatu volcano footage. :)

Greetings from Indonesia! Stumbled upon your channel while watching several footage of the recent large eruption of Mt. Ibu. And Damn! What a majestic close up view of the lava dome, and the beautiful growling & rumbling of the eruption! Being a witness of the massive & deadly 2010 eruption of Mt. Merapi in Java (Yogyakarta Province), I'm truly understands those rumblings are majestic, amazing to hear, but truly terrifying in the same time!

that bit at the end of the nighttime eruption is crazy the power it has.

Phenomenal footage! At 5:01 it looks just like controlled detonations at an open pit mine, right down to the slight delay between "explosions" like a bunch of charges going off in sequence. And just as I was wondering if this was driven by superheated gases those night shots came on... spectacular! 👍

Yes, it really does look like those explosions you see in quarries and open-cast mines when it erupts:- kind of tame, but that is where the greatest peril lies, because it is anything but under human control. And its also easy to watch that tiny pyroclastic flow, and forget that it's bigger cousins elsewhere are responsible for the deaths of thousands of people over the millennia... Volcanos are fascinating things, but they are also extremely dangerous and very unpredictable. Anyone visiting an active volcano needs to keep these facts in mind, and be fully aware that they themselves bear some responsibility for consequences if they choose to go, and then things go pear shaped...

Rare moment when someone mention my country but the video doenst viral, maybe cause people more interested in stupid videos about Indonesian
That raw power, Mother Volcano doesn't hold back, nor should it. The sound is loud enough. Imagine this sound but multiplied several times and it may resemble any other eruption. I dont want to hear the actual 1883 Krakatoa eruption sound tho
