Cheryl, are you related to any Stevensons that live in Doolittle Mo?

I love to listen to this song at this time of year. Here I sit in the woods on a beautiful morning, looking at leaves turning orange and yellow, eating a pumpkin snack cake, and soaking it all in. God is so good.

When I heard Clint perform this song for the first time, I had to look it up. It sounds like something written by JD, but Clint did write it. Awesome to hear them performing it together

This is my favorite song of all time. Has been for almost 30 years. Hayden and Clint hit perfection with writing this song

It really doesn't get any better than this. I recall the first time I heard this son in the early 90's. Clint was touring with Lorrie Morgan and Merle Haggard. He told the crowd in Boise, Idaho night that he and Hayden had just wrote this song and how it was about Clint getting his record deal and seeing a big change come into his life. My favorite song of all time. God bless Clint Black.

Clint will always be the performer for me. He dosent pretend to be anyone else. He does it all. He is my only one in country i have left to see live. Charlie Pride and Sammy Kershaw .... thankyou.... your writing and singing talent unaltered by a computer move me always.

The best voices come from Texas! Denver may have been born in Roswell, but he started his musical career while in high school in Fort Worth. Of course we all know Clint is a local Katy, Texas boy! Thanks for sharing this, it put a much needed smile on my face!

Very nice Clint. Nice to see John Denver too. And was that Kathy Mattea singing some back up harmony? :D That must have been about 20 years ago? ;)

Sometimes when you see a "thumbs down", even if it's just ONE, I'm reminded that there are just assholes out there who will piss on anything, and everything. My late mother used to say "some people would bitch if you hung them with a new rope". Anyway, great song and great performance.

There's something talkin' in the wind Whispering through the trees That feeling in my bones again Just puts me right at ease It takes me back to all the times I' ve been here before But crossroads, old familiar signs Tell me there's something more Can't explain, there's something strange about the early fall It's comfort leaving me without a care I remain but everything around me hears the call And tonight I feel a change in the air The leaves are turning, soon they'll fall There's a norther blowing in The memories flowin', I recall Those changes in the wind But I can never try to understand There's nothing you can hold in your hand Can't explain, there's something strange about the early fall It's comfort leaving me without a care I remain but everything around me hears the call And tonight I feel a change in the air Yes I'll surely feel a change in the air
