He’s got a lot more views. He just never had his own KZbin channel to realease all his own official music videos. Instead you’ve got like 10-15 random channels all posting a different video for the exact same song so his view count is just more scattered out. But I’d say he’s got a ton of them. Hell he even got to meet “3 time substitute teacher of the year” Peggy Hill. That’s when you really know you’ve “made it”

I think the reason it's low on views is because Clint's version was taken off KZbin for a while. As you know, the song was written by Glenn Frey and Don Henley and originally recorded by the Eagles. My guess is that Clint's version started to make way more money than theirs and was taken down while they renegotiated the terms... Again - I have absolutely zero knowledge of this - I'm just taking an educated guess from my background in music publishing. Anyway - doesn't matter - I'm so glad that it's back on for all of us to enjoy!

This version by Clint always makes me think of a lady I knew when I lived in Denver. We shared a slow dance to this song. Her name is Michelle and don't have any idea where she might be today. I left Denver and never seen her again. How I wish I had asked her out and got to know her better. We met at The Stampede in the early 90s.
