It's not a rainbow, a rainbow has 7 colours, the pride Stripe flag is only 6 colours.

Actually, depending on the language in question, the rainbow may have 5, 6, or 7. In fact, English is one of the languages that have a 6-color stripe; “indigo” isn’t considered a separate color from blue like green is.

On top of the linguistic reasons above, cutting down the colors from 7 to 6 makes it slightly easier and cheaper to print and manifscture

See, as a straight cis gender female, I feel like the black and white zero color on our flag is kinda mean. Like I love all the flags except the one for myself, and it feels kinda like an insult. Like saying straight ppl are boring or something.
