thanks for the excellent video. I ordered one for the remaining hundred or so hog panel posts left to do. the first 20 ripped my gloves and then my hands to shreds with pliers.

This is fantastic!!! Want to commend you on your video... This is the only review/instructional video that shows a Cattle or Goat panel being used. Was hesitant about buying the tool because did not know if it would work with regular cattle panels. Thanks so much..

Just use a small pry bar or a screw driver with a hole drilled in the tip (about 3/8" from the edge - works like a charm - multi use of a tool

thank you for the tip...been looking for a tool to help secure my fence. Good video!! What size gauge is the t post clip you are using in this video?
@tacticalhomesteader8 жыл бұрын
+jmlmjr27 I don't know. It's the bag they give you at the farm store when you buy several t-posts. Maybe 12 gauge if I had to guess?

Do you think these clips would work to attach pvc coated chicken wire to T-Posts? Thanks!!
@tacticalhomesteader8 жыл бұрын
+Iam Amc You could try it. My thoughts are that it might work but you'd bend the poultry wire quite a bit installing it. T-post clips are better for thicker wires like welded wire field fencing or barbed wire strands. Because of the way you have to bend the t-post clips around the wire of the fencing you're installing, my gut says you'd have a hard time bending the t-post clip ends because the poultry wire doesn't provide enough resistance.
@Angel2838 жыл бұрын
+The Tactical Homesteader Thanks for the confirmation, that's exactly what I figured. Thanks for the video and thanks for taking the time to answer my question!!! :)

What is the kind of fencing that you are using called? I can't find the name of it! I like it bc it looks stiffer than the chain fencing. Great video and thanks!

It's cattle panels. I just bought some at Tractor Supply for around $23 each. They are 16' long and 50" high. Will last forever!

Great video. Ive been struggling to find clips that actually fit over panel fencing, though. Any suggestions on brand or where to get them?
@tacticalhomesteader7 жыл бұрын
No, we just use the ones that they give us (Tractor Supply) when we buy the t-posts. They work on standard 48" cattle panels, but any panels with thicker gauge they won't.

There is another tool at tractor supply for $3.99. Just hollow on one end and 3 holes on the other. Just put the hollow end over the end of the clip and spin it around. Much easier. I have both and the cheap one is much faster too me.
