If someone else is having trouble with bringing the FBX 6 model into the csp modeler export as FBX 7 in the T pose, bring it back into blender, scale it up and export it again as fbx, idk why but that's how I fixed it.

So I did it like you said but I’m having a totally different issue. My model wont register at all even though It allows me to bring up the screen but when I click register it it does no appear in my material. Any advice. (This question also goes for the op of this video because I’m not sure how active they are)

Thanks for sharing this! I learned plenty. Your directions are clear and to the point. One thing I can answer for you: what faces and vertices are in a 3D model. A 3D model consists of a large number of 2D geometric shapes in 3D space. For most models, the vast majority of these 2D shapes are triangles. Some will be quadrilaterals, with the occasional pentagon, but mostly humble triangles. (Any 2D geometric shape can be defined as a set of triangles, and some 3D software programs use nothing but triangles.) These are the faces. Vertices are the points where the corners of the faces meet. The default cube has six faces and eight vertices, because a cube has six sides and eight corners. The more complex a model is, the more faces it will need. The more faces a model has, the more detail it can show, and the smoother it can be. But of course, more faces means bigger file size, and slower saving and loading times, and slower refresh times when you move the model around, because there's more math to do. Which is why you are correct in thinking that it's good to keep the number of faces as low as you can while still having an acceptable degree of smoothness and detail. Exactly what's acceptable depends on what you're trying to do with the model.

Thank you so much! I am very glad that it could be of some assistance. Thank you so much for explaining this! You explained it perfectly where I could clearly understand and this helps so much. I kept watching blender tutorials that talked about the Faces and Vertices but they never said exactly what they were. ((I figured because most people would already know what they were. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't one of those people haha at least not until now :) .))

ok, so, everything here worked great. EXCEPT for the bone part. even if i resize my model, it shows up as a tiny speck. the csp reference model is perfectly fine- normal sized. but my imported model is ridiculously tiny. it makes it kind of impossible to accurately pose it, especially since im trying to use a model of a complex robot character for reference and tracing, i keep getting bits and bobs stuck on each other. any help?

Thank you so much, this is exactly what I needed and followed it to great success, with only one minor issue! And I can't even replicate the issue, I'm not sure what I did to fix it? But I couldn't select "Perform standard bone mapping", only "Create standard bone". If that happens to anyone reading this, it started working after I chose a different pose in Mixamo and downloaded the new file, so maybe give that a shot? Thank you again - I really appreciated the detail you went into with how to use the views and controls in the Modeler since they are both different from Blender and not immediately obvious.
