The score as Mathilda walks is the tune (Experience of Love) from the credits of Goldeneye (1995). Eric Serra did that score too I believe. The slow guitar strings and the piano chords are beautiful! Fantastic composer.

Oldman played quite possibly the best villain in any movie I can think of off the top of my head. I know people mention Ledger as the Joker, and Darth Vader... Lecter... I get it. But Stansfield's character and how Oldman played it was just next level creepy.

I feel that misses the point of the ending. She might have helped Leon with a few of his hits, but she's still just a child out of her depth. Leon's sacrifice gave her a chance to grow up as normal as possible, away from family violence and crime. Like the other reply says, all the people who ruined her life are gone. She can move on.

Because movie writers and producers weren't worry about being politically correct or offending anyone. They did what they wanted and expected the movie goers to self screen. Today, making a move is like a ballet dance where the producers, the writers and director are blindfolded and hobbled and hopes that everyone will love it because the offended can't just be like, "nah not for me, next movie."
