He knew he owed the landscaper. He didn’t even bring any pictures of his grass now.

It's not the landscaper's job to water and maintain once the project is done. Water it yourself or get sprinklers and call it a day.
@axelfoley203 жыл бұрын
Exactly. People do not water enough. You must keep it wet until it germinates. Some seed can germinate in a week, but most seed will not germinate for at least 3 weeks.

My moms lawn people came the first three months to make sure it was still good. When it’s new sod (grass) you have to water it twice a day for thirty days. The city even gives you a special thing if there is a drought.

I seriously doubt he was a professor. He worked in the pathology department at Yale which could mean almost anything such as maintenance, janitorial, inventory, crematorium or maybe burial services and maybe the driver! Pathology department doesn't mean he wore a bio-suit in an airlock lab dealing with the new Chinese produced virus. He might've recorded Speech Pathologists helping people with a lisp!

Lawn care is 90% on the home owner. It's not the fault of the landscaper if you don't do what you're supposed to do and that is water your lawn morons! I'm a landscaper and most people do not water enough and those who do, water too much. I'll say it again, 90% of lawn care is the homeowners. Cutting practices, meaning sharp blade, not cutting too much off the lawn. Proper water technique. Plus, with seeding, you never get 100% coverage. Also, you need to keep new seed wet everyday until it begins to germinate. Also, if the soil is not right, certain seeds won't take so you need to do a soil PH test, otherwise you're working blind so to say.
