Meta Quest 3 is a game changer. No pun intended. Amazing VR headset. Best one to own.

It’s a nice experience. Tried to play Starfield and I pulled the screen extremely close to me so I was almost a little surrounded by it. Felt quite good. I hope they will continue improving on this. I’d love to have the direct streaming option from my Xbox to my Meta headset or even just plug in the cable in my Xbox and this opens automatically. Hope they work together improving our experience.

For single player its passable but MP it's just not good enough yet... i have broadband internet from spectrum and its still choppy when playing Halo infinite MP ... very hard to aim and hit your shots but SP is more forgivable although not great either...i wish they would just add the Xbox app on the quest so i can stream my games from my console... which would be much better for someone like me that owns a series X

The first time i used this app i was able to run multiple screens. It was cool because I could run a movie off to the side and game at the same time. Seems like they got rid of that capability with an update because the screen soze butrons weren't always there. Has anyone else figured out a workaroud?

I tried it with Halo and it was unbearable. I couldn’t wait till the match was over. The amount of latency was horrendous. I can’t imagine playing cod like that. Some games are alright but fps games. Yes I find it terrible at home and I have a great 5G connection. It's unplayably laggy. If they let you download the games like they do on console it would be fantastic, but they likely won't because trying to play anything that needs an internet connection is always trash (Nintendo Switch works because it uses cartridges). I had the same experience with XBOX Game Pass even when trying to stream with an ethernet connection. I played Hitman and it was terrible, BUT when I downloaded Starfield and Guardians of the Galaxy (while it was on Game Pass) it was terrific. Let us download the games on Meta Quest 3 and it'll be epic.

It’s good to me. I only cloud game I don’t own an Xbox anymore. Every once in a while I have a lag issue, but that’s due to my Internet because I’m using T-Mobile home Internet and at certain times of the day they might throttle it due to traffic, but other than that, I play fallout 76 on a Samsung tablet and I use the chrome web browser and I just hooked my Xbox controller up to it that’s it. I don’t have no issues.

I got a question, if my wifi company gives my family 250 mb/s (speed) but, only like 10Terabytes(approximately) does Cloud gaming take more wifi away than if I was playing on a digital game on Xbox? Or does it take the same amount of wifi?

Cloud gaming will use more data than just playing natively on your Xbox. But at 250mbps you've plenty.

The quest 2 was finally marked down to $199, is it worth it to buy to try out cloud gaming? My question is will I still have access to the many things you mention in this vid like Geforce now?
@CliveIllenden5 ай бұрын
Yes Xcloud works on the Meta Quest 2, - I wouldn't buy JUST for cloud gaming, but more as an overall VR experience (although I only have the Meta Quest 3 - so my experience is based on that). Sadly there's not a dedicated app for GeForceNow - but it would be awesome if there was (since GFN is superior to Xcloud). You can work around it by playing remotely via your desktop - but that would introduce unnecessary lag.

the queue times are insane. simple games work well. AAA fps not so much. battery life on the mq3 is very short when using cloud gaming. you better be tethered to a wall socket and have a great network access point. its interesting but also very very early. 2-3 more years and consoles will be redundant and inconvenient even in your own home.

I have average 50mbps internet. I've been using cloud gaming for 3 years, and it's worked a treat. However, if your internal home network is a mess (uses 2.4ghz rather than 5 GHz or has loads of interference), then it doesn't matter what speed your getting. But of common sense when it comes to your network when using cloud gaming. Most of the time I use ethernet rather than WiFi - to maximise set up in house.

Wrong. GeForce Now Ultimate is like a near native experience. In some tests a better latency and response time than a native Xbox Series X. Sure, Xcloud is not the best example of cloud gaming - but cloud gaming is here and well worth it if you've experienced something like GeForce Now Ultimate. Try an Ultimate day pass on GFN then tell me what you think.
