His powers require sacrifice in order for him to fully b able to use them consistently would be dope but it would be even better if they introduced the predator or a being from inside his darkforce power to play a villain during one of the seasons

@@AltFactuals First season had way too much drama and barely any action. This season has had a ton more action than S1 ever did, and we are only 3 episodes in. Never thought i'd see a Matri-like bulltet slow motion like in ep 3, judging from S1.

Daniel Pacey I think they wanted to focus on their characters for season 1 so they could focus on more action for season 2

@@AltFactuals I can understand that perspective... but a better writer could do both at the same time. The action/fun potential with Ty's powers in s1 is insane. Ty was way too much of a downer in S1. i get his bro died and all, but if i woke up one day with Ty's powers i would immediate explore my capabilities, not sulk like he did.

I absolutely thought the exact same thing. There is definitely gonna be a payoff with him trying to catch his breath. His power, unlike Dagger comes with a cost. He is getting hungry for life force. When Ty asks Tandy if she thought he was just like Mayhem and she says no... I believe that was a sort of easter egg/ hint that the evil side of his power is gonna rare its ugly head soon.

Most definitely... otherwise he would be too OP. He needs a kryptonite and i think feed =ing off human light force to usee his powers properly is a great kryptonite. He'll probably end up being just like Mayhem... killing the bad guys to sustain himself.

When I was a kid I read this comic. I was excited to see a Black character. My problem wasn't with their powers. It was how Cloak was a sorta vampire. His powers hurt him. He was dependent on Dagger. It made their partnership one-sided. Whites have always believed they have an affinity to the light due to their skin color. Which is funny since that very light turns them dark and is detrimental to them if exposure is continued. I always wanted to change it to a more symbiotic relationship. Where Dagger needs to dispel her light. Too much becomes painful and makes her shine all the time. That regular humans gather around her because she's like a drug. Her light feels good to them. She needs Cloak to drain off her excess light. Now there is balance in their partnership. Dagger can't dispel enough light without cloak. Both are harmful to humans if they are left unchecked. My main problem was how Cloak was dependent on Dagger.

His primary function is to consume in the comics and it wouldn't make sense for them to take that aspect of his power out

I feel he will accidentally drain Evitas light and kill her, cuz at the moment i can't see anything else separating the 2 of them and making way for C&D. If this happens, my interest level for this show will skyrocket. I just love complicated heroes... not so much the boy scout types.

I don't think he will kill her but as his powers start to spiral out of control I think he will be afraid that he might hurt her
