There is something elegant and magical about the Mighty Mac. Crossed it many times. I wrote a book wherein the theme was this beautiful bridge. Thanks for sharing this video. Brings back very fond memories.

I have just noticed that there is no barrier between the traffic on one side ot the road and the other. This just would not happen in Ireland. We are not used to two-lane traffic on such roads without a dividing barrier keeping the two traffic streams apart. This bridge must be at least 10 times longer than any bridge in my little island. Goes to show the economic advancement of the US over Ireland in the sense that this was built in the 1960's. We did not have motorways until the mid 90's.......

@@LonelyIslandCoconuts Michigan consists of two large peninsulas that are separated at the ends by five miles of water. The Mackinac Bridge joins the two peninsulas. Lake Michigan is to the west, and Lake Huron is to the East.

Bahariterra is a very beautiful island nation in the Atlantic Ocean. It is very big and has mountains and beaches and luxury cars and hot girls and best of all, palms. 🌴

@@LonelyIslandCoconuts Michigan is a state in the USA. We have snow for 4 or 5 months of the year and a fairly comfortable summer for a few months. I enjoy all the seasons here.
