Well the interesting thing about Order 66 narratively is that the clones didn't betray the Jedi, the clones were manipulated into thinking the JEDI had betrayed the Republic. Imagine helping out your bro, and then getting a message saying "he has betrayed everything you stand for and is a threat to us all". I see why Cody just went "BLAST HIM", he was probably pissed.

Captain Rex didn’t make it on my list of being favourite clone troopers but he did make on my list of favourite clone wars characters in general. The reason why is he was in almost every clone focused episode. He always shafted other clones like Bly or Bacara.

Commander havoc is actually one of my favorite clone troopers not because I think he looks absolutely sick, but because he holds a nostalgic feeling for me. When I was like 5 I saw him on screen during the battle of kamino, and then I thought he was the best clone ever.

Like Big daddy Kenobi, that commando droid had the high ground and echo didn’t. Like anakin he was near death. Also I think Dave knew how much fans liked him and said he was alive.

There is one time when someone pointed a deadly weapon at someone an they got stuned. Princess laia on the tentative 4. An she got stuned because that was Vader's orders ;he wanted her alive. I still stand the same though fox did nothing wrong: he did what he had to do.

If fives surrendered he would of been Interrogated ( that is my assumption because of law enforcement actions after shooting takes place and the investigation looks for motives and so on) Edit either way you cut the pie it's still a loss loss with fox and fives.

I would've LOVED to see a clone wars style Phase 2 Gree. Also, the only thing I will say about Fox is that he rushed at a man who clearly wasn't very stable. Fives had pretty much no escape, so he could've stayed back and tried to talk to Fives. Otherwise, I think he gets too much hate.

I agree with your opinions on Fox for the most part, especially on how he told Fives not to pick up the pistol twice. However, you have to remember the Kaminoans drugged Fives up before he met the Chancellor, which could've had all kinds of effects on his mental processing and behavior. In addition, Fox charged an unstable person, something police today DO NOT do, at least in the US. While I do believe Fives was in the wrong, he was not completely blameless. Also Fox isn't exactly in the right, either. He likely was told by Palpatine to kill Fives, and could using the situation Fives put himself in to make it look like it was not a deliberate kill. The clones were engineered to be, and as Fox is, utterly loyal to the Chancellor. However the orders Fox was given were likely corrupt and not honorable. Fox may have done the right thing according to what he was taught to do, but that does not mean he did not conspire, in some way, in the downfall of the Jedi and the rise of the Sith.

They decided to change the name from the comic character because of alliteration. Anakin, Ahsoka, Artoo, Alpha. All names beginning with A. So they changed the name to Rex for the Clone Wars. THAT SAID, Alpha is one of my favorites too (probably top-ten as well).

As much as I like lots of things about Filoni's Clone wars, Tartakovsky's clone wars will always be better to me. I rewatch scenes from that one so much even now (especially the Anakin and Ventress fight, it's one of my favorite lightsaber duels of all time). Also Grievous was way better in that one. That being said, Fordo is my favorite clone partly because of nostalgia, but just cause he was such a bad ass. And I really wished he had made it into 2008's clone wars in some way. He was an excellent strategist and leader, but at the same time just had absolutely no fear when it came to fighting off droids by himself too. And after watching the mandalorian, he kind of reminds me of Din and the rest of his clan where you read what he is thinking through action and body movement and I loved that about him. Also paint job on the gunship he used when they rescued Ki adi, Shaak, and Aayla from Grievous was just the best haha.
