Hey, thanks for watching! Have you been to Denali yet? If so, how was your experience and what wildlife did you encounter? Looking forward to getting jealous 😅😍! Cheers from Austria, Doris & Matthias 👨🏻👩🏻🦰

@@bugsandbears Sorry to disappoint, my trip got cancelled - too many issues with getting timely COVID-19 testing for Alaska. However I do have some upcoming soon videos from Southwest Colorado and Utah instead.

@@HBMaverick Ah, what a bummer. Denali is just so great! But, with Covid-19 it is what it is and there are other adventures to do.

Such great shots and I love your style of editing with graphics! I've been to Alaska once before but only explored a little portion of Denali, so I would love to go back and explore more of this gorgeous park.

Happy to hear you have visited Denali before - such a stunning, wild place! What other parts of Alaska have you been to? Very curious about that! We definitely need to go back once and explore the more remote North (possibly watching for polar bears). Cheers, Doris & Matthias 🐻

Another awesome video guys, I'm always super impressed by your cinematography and editing. I have a kind of weird obsession with bears, I just love watching footage of them in the wild. Amazing to see how close you got. Did you ever feel in any danger?
@bugsandbears6 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah, we could also watch bear videos forever and ever. Have you seen "The Grizzly Man"? If not, you should definitely. So luckily we had all our bear encounters so far from the safety of a car or bus. And for hiking, we're prepared for the unlikely case of a close encounter. However, when we found all the bear poop and so many traces we felt the likelyhood was strongly increasing - and yep we were getting a little nervous - so we changed our route 😅. No bear sighting though. Have you ever seen them in the wild? Cheers, Doris & Matthias

Thank you so much! Yes, the wildlife close-ups were shot on our Sony 70-300, using 4k (so we got double the size in our 1080 videos). But we were also very lucky on how close the animals got to our car. You should definitely visit Denali! It's such a wild and remote place, you're gonna love it!

Thanks, Andrew! We were pretty lucky with some sightings while visiting Denali. Most was shot right from our car or from the local bus through the National Park. Also, filming with a tele lens helps 😊! We also can't wait to go back some time to visit the more remote North. Cheers, Doris & Matthias 🐻
