And, I always love the way that this god, or that god, there are so many, never receive a rebuke for causing cancer or not stopping wars or disease, or extremists, nor did this god tell his followers that the Earth didn't occupy this center of the solar system or universe etc etc, to stop them looking stupid. Yes, her voice is beautiful but let's not take anything away from her and assign it to a fantasy. Oh yes, this god thing failed to save Karen, if responsible for the good it should also take the 'credit' for the shit in the world.

@@PeteEvangelista Hi Pete. I was extremely lucky, I don't know about you? I wasn't born in a Muslin Theocracy nor a part of the world where Christianity was the dominant social force, as perhaps it is in the Bible belt of the USA. And, perhaps more importantly my parents where not Theists, or at least I didn't notice. In school I particularly enjoyed science and mathematics, indeed all lessons. However, the god lessons stood out as being not based in reality at all. But, what is clear is that some people are hooked. In school, we had assembly every day, which included prayer and hymn singing, and religious education, with the occasional trip to church and exceptionally, Sunday school. My rejection of the concept that there was a god came to me early. Probably some teacher said it was god who created the Universe and someone, could have been me, asked, who created god then? That was enough for me, no sensible reply was forthcoming. This god belief is not confined to individuals. If it was then the state wouldn't have been holding school god lessons, or even nativity plays. This religious indoctrination, that used to be intensely state sponsored, is not so now, was harmful both for the individual and society more generally. Those people like the guy leading this thread, bring god into their everyday lives and ours. Often they do it because they believe in a "loving god" that fills his believers full of fear and angst. But, it also is somewhat missionary The cult of Jesus, if he existed at all, there's a lot of lack of evidence he probably didn't, essentially created hell, the Jews do not believe in it, so it's a loving Jesus creation. This Jesus also told his followers, according to the bible, that places in heaven are limited. Therefore, this belief system that applies to Christians, and Muslims, is a system based on fear and threats, i.e. you've got to be especially good or you won't get in, you will be tortured for all eternity. Hence, the need to please their god by praising his loveliness as a gift from God in respect of a singing voice. I'm glad I wasn't pulled into a system of such fear and duress. And, it stops critical thinking and leads to the hope that god's many headed serpent is going to save us from, e.g. climate change, but the Rapture will mean that all unbelievers will be going to hell. Loving god? Lovely believers? And, if I ask inconvenient questions I'm a son of Satan and going to hell. They believe in a god of the bible despite the fact that the bible contradicts all science. They believe in a god of the bible who endorses slavery, commanded human sacrifice and got it, animal cruelty, genocide, mass abortion, child sex slavery, stoning a man for picking up sticks on the Sabbath, marrying a girl off to her rapist, and much more. Religion is weird and dangerous. It's been free to spread and hunker down within our society for the last two thousand years. It's time, perhaps, to shake off this ancient voodoo belief system.

I love how you sang this perfectly knowing your pitch and range. It was beautiful how you held the pitch perfectly. Vocals at there best are an vocalist artist voice can have a range that single instruments cannot do. Few artist can do it as Karen would go from soprano to almost alto in a verse which is what is what entices a listener because it is rare and pleasing to the listener. For some reason as a listener it's remarkable and makes me want to see them perform live to actually see this to assure that it isn't just studio mastered
