Close up review of different, and some rare, daffodil varieties in flower, includes growing tips

Rogers ongoing journey of discovering new and unusual varieties of Daffodils continues in this video where we see at least 7 different varieties looking, and sometimes smelling, beautiful.
Roger also explains how he has overcome the problem of not knowing where to plant daffodil bulbs in autumn because you cant see the old bulbs already in the garden and don't want to disturb or damage the previously planted bulbs. So, he has planted loads of dwarf Daffodil Tete a Tete bulbs into empty plant trays so that they can be transplanted into the garden in spring when he can see where the older bulbs are in flower ... and we take a quick look at the roundabout just up the road from Roger (and his 'beloved') where many of his daffodil bulbs end up getting planted.

Hi, many thanks for your comment - I was not aware of that variety so have been searching online it ... seems it is not widely available here in the UK but may be enjoying a 'renaissance' .. it seems to be better known in the US ... are you US based?

The one which he called Jack the lad is actually Tahiti

Thanks Kim, Tahiti is a lovely variety and does indeed look very much 'Jack the Lad' which what those were labelled as when we purchased the bulbs - are you familiar with both varieties? I must admit it does look very much like tahiti, thanks again Roger
