I went on a whale watching trip on a boat that left from Sea World on the Gold Coast,it was definitely a bucket list moment. We had a few scary moments when two of them swam under the boat! Amazing to see these magnificent creatures!

If you want to hand feed dolphins, come up here to tin can bay which is about an hour or so drive north of Noosa. A pod of them come in to the shore every morning and you can hand feed them a fish. And after that, head over to rainbow beach. You think the beaches on the sunny coast are good, wait till you see the beaches on the Cooloola coast. 😀

Glad you had such a great time whale watching. I didn't know there was a trip from Noosaville...it looked like a lot of fun too in that type of boat. There are also trips out of Mooloolaba on a couple of different types & sizes of boats. I totally agree with you - I never want to leave the whales either - they are amazing. ❤️❤🐋🐋

When I saw the Big Pelican I knew exactly where you were, Noosa River. I've been out the river mouth quite a few times in a mate's boat. The sandbanks change continuously and the swell can affect the bar crossing - looked relatively calm to me but I am a sailor, might seem choppy for those who have not been to sea. Alexandria Bay (A Bay to the locals) is the unofficial nudies beach. The whales are starting to head back south to Antarctica for summer after spending winter on the Great Barrier Reef. The most famous whale on the Aus east coast is Migaloo the white humpback whale. Migaloo means 'White Fella' in some aboriginal languages. He has been a regular visitor for more than 10 years but no reported sightings this year. Google his name for more info, pics and YT videos. Well worth doing the walk out through Noosa National Park to Tea Tree Bay and Granite Bay but you can not take dogs into National Parks.

@@RobNMelbourne how amazing are their Pelican’s? We don’t get them like that in the U.K. Ahh no way, yes got told about Migaloo, it would be amazing to see him! It’s a shame he’s not been seen for a while 🥺

Go to Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsunday Islands if you haven't already been. It is breathtaking, and the sand is almost pure silica, and the whitest. It's regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You can only ge there by boat, but it's worth every minute.

I was on a bushwalk on the point right by where you saw the whales a couple of weeks ago. We saw about 40 dolphins in two big pods. No definitive whale sightings that day for us though.

Humpback whales calve in both Hervey Bay & Moreton Bay. I did the eye spy catamaran from Redcliffe. A bit pricey but I got my money's worth. Saw and filmed heaps of whales and calves.

Don’t worry about bull sharks in Noosa River or the canals. They are there but I am pretty sure nobody has been killed. I can’t remember anyone being bitten. I think someone got attacked in the Gold Coast canals decades ago. For all the time Australians spend in the ocean only 2-3 people are killed by sharks each year on average. Same for snakes.
@EatVentureVlogАй бұрын
I had read that statistic about sharks, that’s why I went for a swim, if you live in fear all the time your not living are ya? 😉

@@EatVentureVlog Ah, I see. I have had a few family in Aust. where the wife drives all the time and it just SO affected their relationships. The wives always were resentful of their husbands - either laziness, or inability, whatever...It really impacted on their lives. I'd hate to see that happen to you guys!
