Check out the Armida A12, in my view the best built of these 62 MAS watches. They pop up on Ebay every now and then.

Great review, you have a great voice over for reviews. I don’t know if you ever review San Martin but they have a 37mm MAS watch as well that’s only about 12.8 thick and with a high beat movement. It would be cool to see a comparison between this one and that one.

I’m not generally a homage fan but this is pretty nice. I like the size (except height) very much but I’m gonna have to strongly disagree regarding the crystal. I like the boxed sapphire especially since it aesthetically matches a true vintage watch. Even sitting low you still get a nice distortion imo. Thanks for the share!

.......Thanks for the excellent review ....... last year I bought the basic black dial ( actually like a sunburst grey ) with silver hands , C3 lume , single dome sapphire and of course the all important aluminium bezel ........ a simply stunning watch with superb finish ...... looks the absolute bees knees on a high quality contrast stitch ( not a two stitch though ) leather strap I added ...... probably the most faithful 62MAS homage watch around for an exceptionally good price given its quality ..... even the box it comes in is a cut above the rest ...... Its nearest contender is the wonderful Armida A12 but that is an extra $210 , but worth it ..... yeah I bought one of those as well .........

Fantastic size and price. My only critique is the indices from 1 to 11; they look a bit too large.

Realy like that they try to come as close as they can to the original. Therefor i think the black hands are kind of out of place. Hope they change that in the future. Not intrested in a bracelet, a 62mas should be on a rubber strap.

I actually know the creator of the brand and she's 100% a seiko enthusiast and great watch maker I like the idea of the black style hands and numerals it's sorta a homage to the rolex explorer 2 polar it has a deep contrast but on this watch it allows a cool void to appear in the dial and nothing be standing out too much , problem I'll say on the darker non green lume tho, it'd SERIOUSLY be improved by C3 and low lume always hurts everyday and green lume always is nicer on the eyes

Would you get that or any of Fifty Four watches (Willard, sl025) or the newest Seiko 5 38 mm over Seiko Prospex Solar 38,5 in terms of comfort/balance/ wearability for a small wrist? I know Solar has no AR, I just need a comfy watch :)

Nice - good, practical size. Of course, the 62MAS was a blatant rip-off (no polite 'homage' back then!) off the Blancpain Bathyscaphe from '56, which was 37mm too, so this could equally be a Blancpain homage... Funny when a watch homages the copy. But marketing aside, it's good to see some smaller divers returning to market. Let's hope it influences the Big R, O and S! And GS!!!
