I have the same obsession with navy! Have your seamstress add a tuxedo stripe down the outside leg of those satin trousers to make them fit! I did that with some white ones and they look good. xx

You are soooo clever Trintron....I look at colours and shades so much now...learning so many new tricks....I am definitely heading towards the navy rather than black....I held black to my face and thought hmmmm don't think it does much for me but I now know that a deep wine colour and navy are good....try and bare in mind Trinny we are not all as slim as you darling....so not so much of this tucking in malarkey 😅 oh last word I'm on the matchy sock brigade....🤭 bought some Moda in Pelle trainers with a metallic top so I have ordered some metallic socks....yeah...are you proud of me darling???....BFN...x

I never wear black if possible, so I use navy or denim as my go to. But I find that many bright colours go with navy perfectly. Raspberry, orange, lighter blues, whites and so on. So I was hoping to see you come up with even wilder brighter combinations 😁 But I also have trouble combining navy with navy because of the tones.

In theEast coast USA,we wear navy with any primary or secondary color.(We call it the preppy look).Kinda of garish but we love it.

I love navy and I'm beginning to replace black items with navy as the latter is much more suitable as one gets older. I do not agree that navy doesn't go with bright colors. I own a silk breton dress with dark navy and a cold-ish red stripes and these colors complement each other beautifully.

Trinny, I love navy and like you have more of it than any other color in my basic wardrobe. I look good in some blacks and washed out in others; but look good in all my navy's. I love navy. I prefer it to black which is less forgiving on me. Also, it is practical for work - I work in a primary school and black either looks gloomy or too dressy.

THANK YOU! I am so glad to know I am not the only one that is completely neurotic about navy and the tones of it. The bane of my navy troubles is with tights. How many navy tights do I have, and they don't go with any of the plethora of navy skirts, or even navy printed skirts, or sweaters/jumpers I own. I can't bring myself to wear any of the tights, even if I wear navy on the top and the tights won't be next to the tops if they don't match tonally. Any why are there no pants, or skirts, or anything else that match the tone of the average navy tights? And I would never wear navy tights and not have navy on somewhere else in the outfit.

Mee too have those colors. Many navys are fine for autumns. Just not the first outfit;with a grey ish to it. Look at that balenciaga coat she's showing,a bit towards purple is gorgeous for autumns. Best color combo : khaki in some form. Altso blueberry"black blue are nice.
