The larger size, and it actually looks more expensive, when slightly oversized. I think it is the effortless effect of a flowing shirt, you can still see a person is slim, but it flow better.

Why not consider using a rental platform for the clothes you’re no longer wearing? It seems so wasteful to just hoard them away in your closets. Let them get out for some fun! Im sure if people knew you were on a specific rental site you’d have lots of interest. Some platforms have individual renters where you can rent from their personal wardrobes.

So cool you're team is researching low cost coord options for us (Sorry Serena, but many if us love your clothes but can't afford them!). I've been looking, too. And I really appreciate your honesty when looking at your purchases and thoughts of embarrassment. This is very important to consider and address. But without shame. Am i the only one? …I got the feeling that Jemima doesn‘t speak in her „natural“ voice, meaning in her most relaxed voice…i guess she wants to seem nice and friendly but for my ears it just sounds like a little girl‘s voice…too often we were told we‘d only be successful and loved if we‘re sweet, small, friendly, quiet…so when i hear women talking in a high pitched girly voice i immediatly think they‘re insecure about themselves, maybe they were berated for being loud or talking nonesense and so on…dunno, maybe i‘m totally wrong here and i‘m just hating on women with high voices…my apologies if that‘s the case…

I try to have a plan to manage the lifecycle of my clothes. Most of my clothes are for day-to-day wear and I hope to get at least 30 wears out of them (or 20 washes for tshirts and equivalent). I pick items which will work with other pieces I already own. When the item is starting to show wear/tear, I’ll either sell it off cheaply, or give it away. If it’s showing a lot of wear it will go to the fabric recycling. If it’s a special occasion piece, I’d try to buy second-hand and resell after I wore it…or just rent it so I don’t waste closet space warehousing it after the event. I try particularly hard to remove items from my wardrobe before bringing new items in so the wardrobe isn’t ever-expanding 🙂

Jemima, I do the same thing!!! I always take pictures while I window shop then think and look about it for a while. If I really like it then I go for it! Also, I learned from Trinny that if I buy something, it has to go with at LEAST 5 looks in my wardrobe! Sometimes if it's just 3 looks then I still go for it ;) Love you, ladies!

I’ve lost weight and some of my things are too big so I’ve been buying from charity shops. I’ve bought two marvellous pairs of trousers. I’ve also been buying furniture from the British Heart Foundation. I love thinking that all these things are getting a second life.

For some people buying things is kind of a retail therapy. They usually don’t know even how to style them. But for you Trinny, it’s so obvious that it’s joy. You know how to style outfits; they look fabulous on you. Some people should control their buying habits but you are entitled to buy fashion items because you know how to style them. Just like Iris Apfel, you will still spark joy with your colours and style at her age. We ❤️ you.

Trinny, don’t feel bad about buying so much. You aren’t the same Re clothes as an average person. Your job is in fashion and we watch you to learn about fashion so naturally you need more of a selection than the average. My only suggestion is not supporting Zara , shein,top shop etc and fast fashion brands so much. While they admittedly do have an irresistible website , they are some of the most unsustainable brands and filling landfills. I also love how you use the same garments repeatedly.

I prefer the larger, oversize Serena Bute shirt. Would return the smaller sized shirts. For future episodes - love the idea of talking about swapping pieces with friends, colleagues. How does that work? Also - does Trinny ever buy clothes from the men's section? I know that sometimes clothes in the mens section are a lot cheaper and this may interest some viewers. What can you buy from the men's clothing section? And how do you style it?

The problem about buying different sizes of clothes, trying them on at home and returning the ones that do not fit is that we don’t know if the company resells those clothes or do they waste them? If they destroy the returned clothes, that adds to the environmental impact of shopping. 🌍

Loved the pink halter neck dress, the red floral dress and the cobalt blue suit best - all fabulous 🥰 Jemima looks very pretty in pink and think the deeper pink of the halter neck dress would look sensational on her ! With the current cost of living crisis I am being extra mindful to donate my unworn clothing to local charity shops which also helps me to assess which items do not work for me (thus avoiding wasteful future spending) My top tip is to identify your 'go to' basics and work around those. For me this is my indigo bootcut jeans ( just add a pretty floral top or white tshirt and floaty scarf and comfy trainers) my navy wide leg linen trousers and a maxi skirt/2 dresses. I stick with navy basics (footwear, 2 bags, mac, coat) and add colour with tops and scarves. Comfort and practicality are key for me, knowing my best colours and what suits my body shape. Nothing makes me happier than the concept of a 'capsule wardrobe' 🌞

I buy ALL my clothing from charity shops. Everything (including coats and designer labels) is $4. It's hard not to buy too much. When I run out of coat-hangers, that tells me I have too many clothes. So then for every item of clothing I buy, I have to donate two from my wardrobe back to the charity shop.

I love these closet confessions videos. I would like to see a video where Trinny discusses the "mutton as lamb" looks. Sometimes it can be a fine line. You shared a video some months back about vintage clothing. Trinny was wearing a fabulous 50's dress that I thought looked amazing on her and she said she looked like "mutton as lamb". Can I make a request for a future episode of CC? Could you do one on linen clothing please? I live in subtropical Australia, so this is about the only fabric I can wear most of the year. But everything I see is dowdy and plain. I like long flowing clothes and linen takes so long to soften.

Another problem I have with finding nice linen clothing is that I can't wear white! The colour doesn't suit me, plus I have to wear something underneath which defeats the purpose of airflow, and it is too muddy here in the summer months.

Linen takes clothes dye really well. You could also tie dye plain linen clothing to give it some va-va-voom

@@maz. Thanks. Yes, I've had to get some linen shirts dyed in the past that were a kind of oatmeal colour and washed me out. I am not a fan of tie-dye, as it's not my style, but I must have natural fibres. (A lot of sweat 6 months of the year!)

The questions were ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. I just wrecked a dress, it was a farty A-line shape I wanted to hourglass/ pencil skirt the bottom 1/2. She cut it too slim and now it rides up when I walk like a cheap body con shrink wrapping. If I didn’t constantly tug it down the hem would be under my arm pits. SO PISSED
