Have you ever tried to sell your used clothes to a consignment shop, on poshmark, or do you just donate them all? I think I’m going to take some of the items from this declutter to Plato’s Closet and see what they offer for them!

I always try taking mine to a consignment shop or platos and what I have left over I usually categorize into sizes and post on Facebook Marketplace for cheap!!

If my schedule allowed it, I'd probably go the Postmark route since our closest consignment shop is over 45 minutes away, but since it doesn't I fall in the donate category. Although that's gotten even more challenging here in California with everything going on.

A few years ago, I got rid of all of my shoe boxes while decluttering and got 2 under-bed shoe storage organizers. I love that I can see all of my shoes in one place, and it opened up space in my closet. I agree with you that our style changes as we evolve. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

I try to stay up on my closest and I color coordinate and even do so within the different types (tanks, sleeveless, blouses, dresses, etc.), but I really need to allow myself to truly dig into it with your thought process. usually I throw out everything that I haven't worn for a year (besides party dresses/occasional wear) but 2020 wasn't a normal year in so many ways. Therefore I don't follow my rule this year and wait for a year without lockdown and staying at home most days. Only categories I followed my rule were lounge wear, PJ's and undergarments.

Hi I'm Michelle I'm 38 years old and I either donate or give a friend my clothes and i don't have a lot of shoes I have more slippers then shoes I know weird right i have 2 pair of sneakers , 2 pairs of sandals and 2 pairs of dress shoes no boots 5 or 6 pairs of slippers and 8 to 12 pairs of slippers socks my feet stay cold most of the time so I'm almost always wearing socks with a pair of slipper socks over them and sometimes a pair of regular slippers over that so yeah I have a slipper thing going on like you and your ear head bands I hope you and your family are doing 😁👍

@@AllisonMcPhail 😁👍thanks me nether most of them are sentimental to me my daughter got me a pair for my birthday one year and my foster mom got me a pair for Christmas one year and I have 2 pairs that my grandma hand made me for my birthday and Christmas before she passed away so they are really hard to get rid of and have a lot of memories that go along with them I am 38 but I don't look or act like it everyone says I'm a big kid because I still watch cartoons and I color I do crafts and I drew and I hand make all my Christmas cards and I love to clean I have a house keeping depoma and my regular depoma from school I can't drive or work so I manly stay home and take care of are animals and clean and do what ever I want to do me and my man have been together since I was 24 or 25 years old I hope you and your family are doing good 😁
