The Graco Snugride 30
This is a highly popular, trusted brand. There is a lot of padding that is actually removable as your baby grows, which I think is a nice feature. The five-point harness is very easy to use and very reliable when it comes to securing your baby. In addition, there is a terrific sun canopy that provides lots of shade.
The car seat is also compatible with the Graco car seat carrier, a great option for busy parents who are moving from their car to the street. I would recommend that you should just rely on the car seat and the car seat carrier for the first few months of your baby’s life. This will save you lots of money you would have spent on an expensive stroller!
There are two options for installing your car seat in the car. Some cars come with a latch system which is very easy to use with the Graco. If you’re not using the latch system, there is always the option to just attach the car seat with the seat belt. This is also a very simple system. Just remember to keep it tight, tight, tight! We loved our Snugride & stroller frame! The only thing we didn't like was the bottom snap. It was extremely difficult to get the button to release but 6 months ago Graco sent a recall on the snaps. We had already upgraded to a forward facing seat so we never got to see if it worked better but hopefully that problem is no longer an issue.

how do you remove the car seat from the base? I can't find a video and the pieces on the side don't seem to release it, is there a button to push or release to pull?

Don't have one, as I stated this model is known for getting stuck and I wanted to know if there was a release for when that happens... My 4,5, and 6 yo know what the big red lever is for, so the comment wasn't normal

actually a lot of people don't seem to notice that there are levers or buttons on carseats, I figured I would just answer the question you asked. I was unaware the carseat gets stuck seeing as I do not have this carseat yet. how is the padding on it? does your baby seem comfortable in it?

Cassandra Wadsworth I just picked up this exact carseat today, brand new. Mine came with the latches already stored away. They hook onto the sides of the base, not the bottom as this video is showing.

Some cars come factory with car seat latches, check your owners manual to see if yours does, if not, use seat belt method.

@Alyssa Margolis If you register your seat you will be notified of any recalls. I treat my stuff with care so damage not an issue. As far as plastic becoming brittle, all i can say is i hope my Glock frame does not become brittle. Give me a break!

@@1776Blue Now that is the most sensible comment. It all depends on the seats construction quality and the care it receives. It has nothing to do with age. A person could have a nearly new seat that is not safe or on the flip side a quite old one that was build well and barely ever used.

This video was horrible. At no time did I find I was educated on the actual car seat. You spent more time talking about the base and the stroller attachment. In future videos I think you should be more informative about this
