Lucifer S03E24 : Lucifer protects Chloe Decker with his Wings

The wing cocoon being made canon was awesome. I liked how there was that staredown between Lucifer and Marcus, almost like he's wondering if he'll finally think things through after Chloe was shot since he claimed to love her. Instead, he sicked his dogs on them and Lucifer protected her regardless of the pain he had to endure because of his wings being vulnerable around her. That's real love right there.

I love the little detail they gave the wings. How whenever the bullets hit, while he has his wings wrapped around them, they twitch to show the pain and that they are closing in tighter to orevent any bullets from getting through.

When you love somebody, you wrap them in your arms where nobody or nothing will ever hurt them. In exchange, you take the bullets for them, and even though it absolutely destroys you, at least she won’t be hurt.

I love this scene. Just when things starting to pick up pace again, they want to cancel it? -shakes head- I hope it will continue one way or the other. Simply pulling the plug while the story is still at full speed is simply cruel. Give the writers and crew time to wrap it all up, if you want to cancel it.
