One of the skyscrapers in the shot was the Empire State Building and it was 1,250 feet (380 meters) tall, the Spaghetti twister here however is WAY BIGGER, and that's terrifying (don't ask why this was 2 years late.).

None of you guys are getting it. You all seem to think that this was the original film. It's not. This is not the original movie, At all. This was the EARLY DEVELOPMENT REEL. This was made to pitch the idea for the movie to the developers. This was never intended to be an actual product. It was an over exaggerated roughcut trailer to persuade the developers to make the movie in the first place. This is a phase every film goes through; Including every 3D Disney film. This one of the most alpha and basic parts of the development process. Which is why the characters look creepy, the animation rigid, and the textures incomplete.

I just found this, and....wow, this was my childhood movie and finding out this version of the movie, I'm shocked, and most of all, I was terrified the moment is saw the Spaghetti Tornado in that final shot, 1:43 seeing Downtown Manhattan New York City being engulfed by the giant Spaghetti tornado, meatballs flying in the air, the pasta twisting and flapping around, red sky, buildings losing power and lights from being to close the the Spaghetti Tornado, the Tornado towering over the Empire State Building making it look small, and at the beginning of the shot, the camera shakes violently as the Spaghetti Tornado gets closer until a meatball crashes into the camera. Terrifying and creepy as well as eerie, but I do like how they made the tornado intimating as if it were REAL and, once again, creepy and terrifying.
