For you not to be born during this time and research all of this is commendable. I’m sure that it takes hard work to research all of this. I was in high school during this time and this documentary is giving me nostalgia, just remembering the actual impact roc a fella had on everyone at the time was amazing. And all of the rap beef at the time was everything. Anyway Continue to be great young man.

Yo man: thank you for doing this. 💪. Well done, good research and thanks for taking the time to give two sh**s about the past as many of your generation do not. I am 40 and was in middle school and high school from late 98-mid 2002. In short: the golden era of when and where so many of today’s legends came up. Even though I’m as ha-whyte as they come as far as skin, I grew up with a predominantly black crew and attended almost entirely non-white public schools and so I grew up in the thick of all of this. So many wonderful talents didn’t make it to the 2020’s so it’s nice to see you give them the love they deserve. Also per your request (and partially covered earlier): I’m a 40 year old white dude living in IN. So you def have are further reach than you might expect. Cheers for the great content homie. Excited to see you tackle other roving topics in full-length documentary format.

Ay i know im late with this comment but good job on these videos. For me, its like nostalgic because i remember this era of time vividly. To see and hear what im taking in just lets me know how much time has passed since these events took place and makes me miss hip hop sounding like this. Its far and few in between that bring anything close to what came out of the Roc camp! But thank u for the effort you put in this video and the others. So far, my favorite vid you did is the one on Ghostface. Thats my favorite rapper of all time bro! Only that of the late MF Doom deserves that title from me, but that's just me.

Track 2 on The Truth album, produced by Just Blaze, but we were dumbfounded because it sounded like a Swizz track!!! The Roc's Golden years were crazy!

The song was called "WHO WANT WHAT" not who want that. It featured Memphis Bleek. That went back and forth on the song but wasn't in the studio together when they recorded it

YOOOOO!!!! I know I was late and everything but this doc was amazing. You gotta do one with 50 cent. Oh yeah, name is Marc. From the DMV (DC, MD, VA) Jay-Z is my favorite outta the roc because of course he is the GOAT obviously. That mannnn!!!! Everybody doubted this man, and nobody wanted him. Went from independent to the biggest rapper of the game with build the biggest record label 🔥🔥🔥. And Hov was suppose to past the torch to bleek. But of course, beans was the second best rapper in the roc and battle the whole ruff ryders and came at nas in that nas and hov beef. Shidddd was crazy mannnn. But you gotta do one with 50 and G-unit

Sigel St is where he grew up at. That's why he picked that name. Plus, his name is also a play on gangsta Bugsy Siegel.
