I wish i could go back to the 80s and 90s and live that club kid life and party in the NYC nightlife. I miss the 80s and 90s. I was born in 78 so i was a kid in the 80s but it would be fun to travel back in time as a young adult or even my age now.

Everyone moved on from this scene. The ones who haven't are sadly defined by their nostalgically unimportant reputation. Make up and histrionics don't equate talent. I'm sure the dope had to help in that regard. Feeling important.

I saw the Party Monster movie and simply assumed that she was a fictional character...then I saw your vid! Weird thing is: I went to the Limelight a lot & never saw her once. I stopped going in 1994 due to girlfriend, maybe she showed up after that? Or did she wear a costume all the time like the yellow chicken dude? Can you please reply? -I'm curious because she doesn't seem like the type to be a club kid.

She sold drugs. I am so glad she got it together and is making something of herself. I spoke to her once and she was dull as a doornail. I was not friends with Micheal Alig but I was around a lot of people who were. And he hired a lot of the club kids to attend parties to make them more interesting. I am glad to see she is doing well and has cleaned herself up.

I saw her at Limelight a number of times in '95-'96. Might have seen her at Tunnel too, but mostly Limelight. I saw her hanging out with Freeze & the dj, Whillyem. I didn't know she was really friends with Michael; she seemed on a lower rung of Club Kid dom. Grungier & not exactly fabulous, lol. Definitely into drugs, and by the end ('96), ecstasy had waned, while ketamine & heroin & pcp were becoming more the drugs of choice. So yeah, things were dirtier & darker.

@@theRoseofmyheart I dont think I would ever describe Brooke as dull back then. She was very loud, even rude at times but if she liked you eventually you would learn she had a heart of gold and very loyal.

Hi Retro Room as you say you can not find her in any of Nelson's video's ( me neither ;-) So I came to wondering how you came to learn of her and how comes you did the video or was it viewer recommended?Interesting video though.Glad she's done alright for herself. Any how as for Eddie Braddock my faith is in you and your ability to come up with info. You really are quite talented at the speed in which you turn out your video's. No rush on the info about Eddie or indeed anyone else for that matter as your constant uploading is dished out exactly when it needs to be. "As they say Rome weren't built in a day". Dallas actually has a lot going on. It’s just that the cool scenes have always been underground. That’s what kept them creative and cool. You had to know someone to get in for a long time. Things are less underground now. I love that it’s more obvious, but I hate that it’s more tame now in many ways. I’ve been part of Dallas scenes since the 90’s, and it’s been amazing to see how it has grown and changed. But Dallas has been very far from boring. You just didn’t stretch yourself to scratch below the surface.
