A big HI Michael. I think we are both agreed that "Retro Room" has a good heart and fair play to him he has done a lot to keep the Spirit of a place and time that once was but unbeknownst to many was a really important place to be from a cultural point of view. We are all grateful to Nelson for doing his videos and also am grateful to you for being the switched on talented young guy you were and still are. You have to realise Michael that along with 5ninthavenueprojectts efforts and truly truly passionate people like "our Retro Room" and others too, you and your crowd have given courage and a place of being and acceptance either physically or emotionally to tons of peeps all over the World. Speaking for myself what I love about the likes of you and the characters from back in the day is what you all stood for and did. Trying to be individual and just being true to who you are especially being "out there in your face not giving a shit wither people like it or not" takes fucking guts. So many people find it difficult being in their skins but you Michael and your friends in the Club kid world are a breath of fresh air.It is by you being you along with other Club kiddies that is helping others summon the courage to be themselves. Not many people can call themselves trail blazers but you are a shining example....mistakes and all you just keep being you because in doing so you really are changing the World and in a good way. I can assure you there's a lot of love out here in the World for you and the Club kids. You must be an incredible communicator to of organised and to of hosted the club scene and to of networked the way you did. The body was in the bathroom over a week, then another week in a box in the living room. I remember when this story was fresh and just developing how these two joked about Angel's death and their hatred was so peculiar you couldn't help but do a double take and marvel at their callousness. And this is before the body is found eh. These idiots really didn't think they'd get caught. Anyhow, it doesn't exonerate them if they did not actually shoot the corpse up with drano. I heard Michael say in an interview he put it on the corpse. But like I said it doesn't exonerate them and it isn't that important anymore. Imagine having a rotting corpse in your bathroom for a week. What kind of people do things like that? And all over some money they owed for drugs. And after they killed him they went on a drug using spree with Angel's drugs. They seemed to like that. They didn't seem to be very devastated by their murder of Angel as they say now. Dude, you're insane. These people obviously belong in a pit somewhere far away from humanity.

Michael Alig and Robert Riggs were convicted of manslaughter, for the death and dismemberment of Angel Melendez and received 20 year prison sentences (Riggs was given an early parole). James St. James didn't have anything to do with the murder. He wrote the book Disco Bloodbath, which was later made into the film, Party Monster.

Michael Alig is a good friend of mine actually. He can be a big personality but he is a kind and sweet person. James St. James is also a very big personality. Its hard because they both take up so much air in a room. They are good friends. Friends forever.

Hey Nancy. One thing about being a good "Capturer" (the new term for filmmaker( is that you stay out of whatever is going and keep filming. But I hear ya. I spent the summer '18 Capturing ghetto street life between 12Am & 4am or so in the boroughs. One Saturday night in July, I watched two Long Island dudes humiliating an underage prostitute who was hysterical. Instead of calling the cops (a death sentence nowadays in NYC(, I just kept rolling and 4 months later, I am having trouble living with myself.

As to the Drano & Syringe issue. Wouldn't there have been some sort of toxicology report on the remains found of Angel's body? Don't really know if that is possible being that they were probably grossly decomposed. Just a thought.

In Freeze's confession, he states Michael put a cleaning product in Angel's mouth and then covered it with duct tape.... immediately after suffocating him with a pillow. Perhaps that incident was embellished into Drano in a syringe....and really, there Isn't a lot difference. Like, cleaning product in the taped mouth is just as horrible.

I'm only getting into this topic, learning about the atrocious crime Michael committed, the genius of Nelson and the mysterious Christina and I have to admit I'm still really confused about certain aspects of it but even more so in awe at how the whole club scene basically welcomed the murderer right back into the circle for nostalgia sake? I'm glad to see I'm not the only one so I had to reply. And then it's also its so sad how Nelson and Christina were just forgotten and never talked about again except for fans of their work / personas once they passed. Another thing I'd like to know about is Rupauls opinion on all of this? There's one video particularly where Nelson and friends are celebrating Rus bday and he is introduced to Michael so they did know each other, I wonder if he also knew Angel... It's all so mysterious to me but overall just tragic.
