Well, if 100 DP can manage to outspeed an F-Zero vehicle (presumably the Blue Falcon whose max speed: 457 Km/h)... Sure, he might've not been going at 450 Km, but considering how Mario tells Yoshi to "step on the gas", and how it's supposed to be comedic that he is going faster, we can assume he was driving pretty darn fast. Say he was going at 300KM/H. By doing 100DP / 300 = 80DP / X, we get X = 240, aka, 80 DP is equivalent to 240 KM/H if 100 DP equals 300 KM/H. Seems like a pretty lenient speed limit.

These comics had a rough start. That first one felt like it was actively trying to avoid any sort of conflict, therefore avoid anything of interest. Thank goodness they got better, the one where Mario ends up in a street fighter tournament for example, while not as good as it could've been, is still pretty fun.
