Great video! We saw them in Sacramento last month, as well. Can't believe I've been listening to these guys since I was in Jr. High school, (and now I'm a 60 year old grandmother) It's like I've just discovered them all over again. They rock, and I'm in love!! ♡

Saw these guys in Largo, FL about this same time. Fabulous. Loved 'em in the 60s. Love them now. Also caught them two years ago (jan 2018) in Clearwater, FL when they recreated the full album of Odessey and Oracles.

Zombies were great back in the day, but covering the songs on a guitar was an exercise in less-than-perfect. Written for piano, the guitar chording was something I'd never used, or even heard of. I never have been able to catch this song correctly, and although I've seen many guitarist's versions, none of them were spot on.

That's bad news about the camera policy. I remember the Lindsey Buckingham concert there a few years ago (we both were there) and there wasn't any problems then with cameras. Somebody must have complained and the venue decided to change their attitude on the matter. Anyway, this is a great video.

It was a reunion tour to celebrate the anniversary of "Odessy & Oracle." Chris White & Hugh Grundy joined the touring Zombies (consisting of Rod Argent, Colin Blunstone, Jim Rodford, et al) performing only during "O&O" (which was performed in its entirety. Great concert!). Darian Sahanaja (the keyboard genius who's been Brian Wilson's secret weapon) was also in the band.

+mark keller Really? Geez mark keller...post a video of you doing better. The man can still sing in 3 octaves.....Go catch Van Morrison or Bob Dylan and get back to me....
@LemminPie8 жыл бұрын
Colin Blunstone was 70 (b. 1945) at the time of this concert. Most singers that old no longer have the ability to sing in head voice (like the original recording) and have to sing in chest voice (like this concert). Considering his age, he does pretty darned well.
@firstlastname38658 жыл бұрын
... and, Mr. Blunstone is the consummate British Gentleman. He's as nice as can be & his speaking voice is just as soft & delicate as his singing.
@cvalice4 жыл бұрын
Sorry but I have to agree with Mr. Keller on this...the operatic vibrato doesn't work. If you are looking for nostalgia this doesn't cut it ...not how I remember it.
