I love Selaginella as it makes a very nice ground cover in cool spots and in greenhouses and it will grown from any small pieces that fall off the main plant. It is really beautiful.

I have really been enjoying this plant. This past year is the first year I have had it and I am looking forward to trying it outside.

How's your moss holding up to now? Mine is dying so I'm trying to go through videos on KZbin now and hoping to get some advice from you guru. The soil still feel damp but the moss is turning yellow and becoming weaker every day. Heartbreaking

if planted outside, is it invasive?
@KimsGardensandHome9 ай бұрын
Here in Ohio, cold weather would kill it. But if you don't have cold weather you could try. I don't know if it is invasive by my own experience.

Se pensi sia invasivo vuol dire che non ti piace, ma non credo lo sia. Io vorrei essere invasa dalla ❤Saliginella!😂

Hi how did the club moss do in the terrarium set-up? I recently bought one although they are already taller than what you have in the video. I wonder if I can still use them as a 'carpet moss' for a terrarium. Thank you and nice video 💚

The club moss has done really well. It is still in the bottle terrarium and has run out of room. It just grows upward now. I don't know how long it will last with nowhere to go. It is in this playlist, 3rd video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWTcqIqvhZx2oac

Love this! I wonder if I can separate my Selaginella pallescens the same way?

I looked that one up and it is gorgeous! You could try separating the same way if you want. Mine have grown like gangbusters.

Can u please tell me what climate, how much sun is required by tthis beautiful moss plant
@KimsGardensandHome4 жыл бұрын
These like bright indirect light, full sun would probably burn them. High humidity and moisture is needed, so a terrarium is really great. They grow fast once they take off, so be prepared with another terrarium!

Glad you moved the repotting outside, that's the type of messy thing husbands do and wives give them a hard time about, or maybe it's the other way around in your house, :)

Sad part is that I moved out there for the light....and it still was not good.

Why not just make a mess and enjoy it? You can clean it up later. Good grief. Seriously. There is no joy and all you're worrying about is if you made a slight mess on the table. Sigh.

Great really job .. but you put too much water in terrarium!!!!!
@KimsGardensandHome Жыл бұрын
Why do you think so? I watched for condensation to form and then uncovered when it seemed to have the correct amount. What else should I do, in your opinion?
@se7sss Жыл бұрын
@@KimsGardensandHome In my humble personal opinion, I think only a very little water is added to the soil and the use of a water sprinkler on the plants
