I almost didn't click on this interview. I'm so glad I did click on it! It's inspiring to see someone rise from the ashes like this. Also, a lot of people on the comment section seem to criticize Bill Maher. But, I think he's cool. The point of this pod cast is for people to be natural. Bill Maher is simply having a conversation, not an "interview". Anyway, I absolutely enjoyed every word of this conversation and I will re-watch it when I need some inspiration and/or when I need a reminder not to take things so seriously. It is a lazy, subjective and entitled interpretation of me vs everyone else dynamics. Ego is the enemy... I wish we could do a post mortem on when cancelation did not benefit those raising it's flag. As for him partaking in consensual, kinky sex... Yeah, that's probably mostly true, which is why the courts dropped their case against him. However I see another not so flattering angle: instead of seeking out experienced BDSM enthusiasts from wherever such people meet, he'd apparently rather pick up some ingenue and see what he can make her do. I suspect their discomfort is what gets him off -he is a sadist after all. Is he really so surprised some of these girls experienced buyer's remorse?

BILL! Tell Armie to give Mel Gibson and Mark Wahlberg a call. He should be a part of the "Unwoke" Production Company. I think the world is a spectrum and people make mistakes and we should accept people for thier strengths and shortcomings.

Love this interview. This is coming from a 64-year-old woman who gets it. You gentlemen really get it. Women who get hurt sometimes want to hurt you any way they can. They can justify it. Happy that Arnie Hammer is in a better place. He’s still a great actor. Good luck!

Clarification: The child situation Armie experienced wasn’t by a Catholic priest- it was by a Protestant pastor.
@DariaShatov6 ай бұрын
Really doesn’t matter, actually. What matters is he was a child and was abused by an adult who had trust of his family. That takes a lot of time and work to heal from.

@DariaShatov6 ай бұрын
@@mariannelaba Religious or pretending to be religious - either way, it was a “trusted” adult who abused that trust. It could have been a teacher, a family friend, whatever. What matters it was an adult. As a mother, I don’t wish such experience on anyone’s child.

Loved this interview. I think we could all use a refresher course on the harms of jumping to conclusions and trying to “get even” when we’ve been hurt or wronged. It’s important to do our own research and not rely on one docu or person to tell us the whole truth. I’m a big fan of second chances, especially when growth is apparent.

I always enjoy hearing Armie speak, he is articulate and highly intelligent. I’m not interested in Armie confirming or denying the details of private moments. If Armie was not world known family, celebrity we would not be here. I’m not a fan of talk show hosts, this was bad. Bill Maher just solidifying, only wants the inside, “real truth”. Armie owes nothing to no one. I was hoping this was going to be intellectual not blaming anyone, bravo Armie for trying, BM continually going for gory details… I must say, the text msgs and the wild things I did with my boy’s in my few younger years were not for public consumption, purely legal and no ones business. My last name isn’t Hammer, that’s why it doesn’t matter….Armie deserves to be welcomed back, he has his power back..
