23,a champion, 40+ fights and hes not in his prime? When is a boxers prime then? Most boxers at 36 are old...
@abraham71403 ай бұрын
Usually 28- 34 I think, experience is a huge factor in boxing

Prime for most humans in fighting not just boxing . Is at 30 plus . Some might make it to there prime at 27 : talking about canelo at 23 he was inexperienced , he was caught up in the fame and the hype . 23 is still a kid for a fighter . That he was a champ at 23 just means he was above his competition but in comment sense not ready for a mayweather experience type of fighter . It was a miss match that canelos team didn’t see coming (inexperience) . But most fighters have their prime past 30 ….

So you’re basically saying Floyd’s prime was at 23 by your logic? 😂
@loudhousegrow92353 ай бұрын
Bruh Floyd beats canelo today the exact same way 😂😂😂😂 I don’t see canelo doing anything different he fights the same
@Carpediem_762 ай бұрын
What goes unmentioned is that when he moved to 147 and 154, he fought mostly bigger guys. Yet he never refused to fight them on account of size or imposed rehydration clauses etc. He even moved from 140 to 154 when he fought Oscar. Compare that with Canelo who’s constantly avoided his mandatories if they happened to be top tier competition and insisted on catch weights and rehydration clauses.

Floyd is the best ever and he would have schooled the 4 Kings..🤡's will cope and try to bring guys from the past to manufacture a loss😂🔥..SRL had the power to pick his opponents too, so I dont want to hear it.

Boy… Roberto Duran aka hands of stones and Sugar Ray would def knock his socks off.

HAHA he would won some and lost some. Absolutely no way Floyd walks out of those fights without a few loses or gets knocked out. He would have held his own for sure, but some of those dudes in the 80s threw bombs and could truly box with the best of them.

Real talk. All of the 4 Kings fell, and Floyd remained undefeated. No one knows how or who “could” have beat Floyd because he NEVER lost 🐐 👑

At the 2:42 mark, Shannon asked how Floyd would have fared against the 80s greats.. but kept on talking without letting the man answer the question.. Oscar was not able to say anything until the 3-minute 26 second mark.. by that time he had to respond to a different comment of Shannon's.. at the 3:23 mark, Oscar had to remind Shannon of the question that he had originally asked. Sometimes we can ask a good question and then talk ourselves out of it before we give the person an opportunity to respond. Sometimes we simply need to ask the question, be quiet, and let the person respond. It is not necessary to ask the question then tell the person how much we know about the sport..

Floyd ducked and dodge the best fighters in their prime he would wait to fight guys he ducked manny for 6 yrs fight should have happen in 2009, sugar Shane, Oscar so many too name. There was no ducking in the 80s Floyd would have had 5+ losses and he would never beat Sugar Ray ever... Prime canelo over the last 6 years Floyd would have found a way not to fight him lol
@jamiethomas58493 ай бұрын
So basically you’re saying Manny ducked and dodged fights too because he fought Oscar, Hatton, and Sugar Shane all AFTER Floyd fought them
@ejkboxing3 ай бұрын
Ask Hagler & Aaron Pryor about fighters ducking them. Leonard & Hearns ducked Aaron Pryor & he was 2 weight divisions below them. They both ran to higher divisions to avoid Pryor. Also, Oscar & Shane both tried to duck Floyd & he had to chase after them by going up 3 weight classes.

Oscar is a likable person to me regardless of his personal issues. We all have personal issues that we are ashamed of the difference is famous people’s issues get put into the spotlight. I respect him more than Canelo because he at least went into the ring to fight the best opponents. And even though he lost some I respect him. I think Canelo needs to understand that he will be even more highly respected if he just fights the best fighters regardless of the result. But then again every pro athlete has their pride and few things can bring that pride down. Just my opinion.

It’s great that Canelo took the risk and Floyd gave him the opportunity. The fight could have never happened! This was 2013 and in 2015 Floyd retired. The loss was a passing of the torch and Canelo was in a win win situation with earnings and knowing what it’s like to fight THE BEST at such a young age. Back then Canelo hadn’t even formed his man strength. Canelo’s real strength showed at Middleweight or anything other than 152lbs catchweight
