Now 81 is not the act of a selfish ball-hog but one of the great acts of NBA artistry. For me the truth is somewhere in between these reads. It’s not a two man race. Mike is the greatest and it still stands to this day. I still have Kobe over LBJ personally and Steph Curry above him as well. That’s just me. It’s not about numbers but just about the overall impact. LBJ gets credit for player movement and getting to that bag. LBJ does so much of the court and as a father and business man. 4:08 LeBron has the most perfect feel good story. I get that and see where Charles is coming from. For me personally though a good story is rife with struggle and hardships to overcome. Adversity and failure keeps you engaged, can’t all go write in a film, show or book otherwise there is no story or at least a very boring one. And LeBron has had a lot of those moments too especially when it comes to championships so his story is great by any metric especially as the torchbearer legacy holder but personally I prefer a tragedy and there’s nothing more inspiring than getting up back on the court to shoot 2 free throws after tearing an Achilles.
