Mo'Nique was so right about people choosing to not say something when they see something wrong. This is how abusers get away for the longest with hurting their victims, especially child victims. Because adults see it happening but choose not to say anything. We have to break these cycles of staying silent and start holding people accountable. Like Mo'Nique said, if someone is doing your friend wrong and you know it, call that person out. And that's what Katt and Mo'Nique and others like them are doing.

*I agree whole heartedly with her. Shannon’s reaction saying “that’s not your place” is so scary, as a MAN. You mean to tell me your friend is gonna make a decision that’s gonna ruin someone’s life which can affect also his family and loved ones and you’re gonna close your eyes on it? Letting a man bond, love make sacrifices, spend hundreds of thousands of dollars (if not millions) over the years for a child that’s not his? Then that child grows up to know that wasn’t his father and forever hate his mom for lying? The grandparents and uncles and aunts realizing that kid wasn’t related to them? That’s so messed up…*

Criminal minded and dishonest individuals call the behavior snitching; for those with integrity and are law-abiding, the behavior is informing.

She’s speaking straight facts! I’ve dealt with the generational traumas and cycles of my family just turning a blind eye to the truth just to make things easier and act like everything is ok when it’s not. The consequences of that caused people to deal with others who they don’t even like just because they’re “family.” Toxic relationships form left and right and the cycle continues and people are taken advantage of for their kindness and not holding people accountable no matter how they will take it.
