If you were looking for trenches you should have tried Carbiurton borders specificly "lovers lane" leading to Holywell wood. And as for Tank wood I helped with replanting in 75 my first job as a woodsman aged 16, I lived in the park from 65-78

That Grotto you showed used to be the pumphouse when I lived there., my Dad was a 'warden' and tending to the pump was one of his duties, I used to fish for Carp in that pool @@ExpeditionHiker

Wow lived in nottinghashire all my life didnt know worksop had a priory lookes a good walk worth a day out.Andy you've done some great walks in the past but they get forgotten on internet. Have you thought of putting them to print theres nothing better than a book for reference Looking forward to going to worksop regards Kev
