Love these, keep them coming fellas. I’d be interested in seeing you guys do a series on something like: “the importance of *insert exercise* for weightlifting” and cover things such as squat, strict press, pulls, power versions of the lifts, core work, unilateral work etc, going over the pros, how much time you should put into it, and when you’re overdoing something, or something similar. So as a day one Patron im obviously ecstatic about the higher frequency of content, but wouldnt it be nice of you could upload audio only versions of this to spotify? That way the content wouldnt be so fragmented and would be all in one place. Anyway great work as always 👍

For back squat I'd recommend the use of a monolift, then the rest can be true rest.

After a scrum engages the prop has wait for the wait the ball to come in so therefore wouldn't it be more appropriate to do pause squats at the bottom of the rep

Resting a little more gives you higher quality reps and less fatigue. Is there any non-obvious takeaway from this study?

Seems good in theory but it would kind of blow to unrack and rerack an 80% squat every 20 seconds idk if this would even be worth the resting. Maybe standing with bar is superior. Deadlift or block pull could be great with this thought

Dont knock it until you try it. Comeback to sika gods once you have seen the difference between your traditional vs cluster.

@PhiyackYuh actually in the video gurph said he wouldn't do this on squats. I made this comment at about the halfway point of the video before he said this but the channel actually corroborated my thoughts of how much it would be an issue to squat like this

How do you like intervals for hypertrophy? I have done 5x5 squats or 3x10 with 30s - 60s rest and have noticed it's also great for strength. Soviet system lifters used to talk about squat rep records with continous reps (Rigert 300x5 or something), I think it's interesting considering the time under tension. 5 reps clustered (or rest pause) you still have to support the bar in between reps - rep records like these showcase in my opinion more of the skill of the movement and recovery rather than balls out strength.
