Wonderful! I know what I’ll be doing this evening! I love to cut and paste! I often use a paper punch to mass produce shapes from scrap. Even Circles are fabulous, you can “fussy cut” words or pictures using a punch.

I love this video. It gave me some great ideas to use up my bits and pieces. I don’t know why but I would use my flag pointing to the right. Or maybe switch around sometimes. But butterflies and dragon flies definitely on the left.

I love these clusters and how you put them all together. I use a lot of metal embellishments in mine pieces - brads, eyelets, staples, charms, and whatever else I can get my hands on.

This is wonderful!! I don't have lots of scraps yet, so I have been making some up - and some of my use of the papers is different (like having a butterfly shape already cut out - in my strip). Only made a handful so far but learning. When you switch the flag the other direction, my tummy doesn't feel good - so I agree. As I have been thinking about your question, it might be because in this culture we read (or scan) things from left to right. But interesting to see if someone with a language that parses out right to left - how they feel about the direction of the banner ❤️❤️❤️

Spent the day collecting bits together to have a go at these beautiful clusters. I um and ah rather too much, but ended up with three lovely ones. This evening I went to admire my creations, only to discover that one of the flowers had the word 'blood' written twice, along with 'torso'. I carefully took it apart and found a replacement, but found this one had 'stab wounds' written on it. I had to laugh - will have to ditch those book pages I think.

Aaah, those pesky words... sometimes we don't notice them until a papery thing of beauty has been created and then the text shouts out "blood" or indeed "torso".... 🤭 I've done it many times too.
