I love the natural color of the cardboard/cereal box. I can see so many different ephemera pieces from one old box that would normally be thrown away. I'd glue old book pages at the back if I was to use the snippet decorated ephemera as a tag.

It's always a good day when there is a new video from you :-) I always appreciate the way you encourage everyone to be creative and show how even scribbles work in the end. Using what we already have is something we all should do! That simple click and add to cart is just a bit too easy! *sigh I have not actually made snippet rolls but I think it would be fun for gift wrapping, especially if the snippets are busy and the wrapping is brown paper. Although you may have to stomach things being torn and tossed into the trash! Tammy Brackett is a master at using junk mail and packaging to be creative. Her channel is fun, too. I am currently using the ridiculous amount of political junk mail here in the USA to paper punch shapes for my English Paper Piecing! Thanks for all you do!

When you use a sequin, consider adding a French knot or a bead to cover the hole. A French knot would make it appear to be sewn on. 😁 Even tiny loops of thread poking through the hole looks awesome. 👍

This is such a lovely project! I have a strip of old book paper just ready to go! I like the second layer on the strip. And I have leaves that I can punch and die-cut. Don't worry about what we call our books. I don't think anyone is very confused! They are sort of like the scrapbooking we did when I was a girl. Anything you liked and wanted to keep went in. That term got taken over by the memory "people", and we went on to other names. Technically, "smashbook" belongs to that brand... I think not only what we make our books out of, and what we put in them, but the sort of gloriously casual and eclectic way of construction is included in junk journals.Don't they say, "No rules!" Hugs! Keep up the good work!

I definitely think that glue is good as an approach. Why not? Add whatever you like.....I'm sure it will be good. I had another viewer who told me that's exactly what she did 👍🏻😁❣️

Thank you for your fabulous ideas 💡 I love the fact you use what you have and don't expect us to go out and buy loads of new stuff. I'm now addicted to making snippets. I would love to send you some. Do you have an address I can send Happy mail to. Many thanks Debbie

Wonderful video as always, that is the longest snippet roll I’ve ever seen! Lol x

Indeed it is Tina!! So happy to be filling out Altered Books together too; I just filmed a video doing that and I used this snippet roll in it. I think this would look good using your Woodland Digital images; I'm going to have a go using hem, excited to play❤️🍄🌿💜
