It helped me a bunch! Luckily the old clutch brake had already fallen off by itself.

No mention of removing the old one first? That is the real fun part! Wonder how many clowns will just leave the old one and adjust cover for .500 gap?

Look at that! No clutch dust or old grease from the throw out bearing falling in your face. BTW, when removing the old one piece, I would use an air chisel with a sharp, narrow chisel with a "V" notched in the center of the chisel. The "V" helped keep it from spinning around the input shaft.

These look really nice! I like that they have built in locking pins. I wonder if that plastic keeper would bust the 1st time someone mashes the clutch all the way to the floor while the truck is moving? I know not to do that now. I did not always know that the clutch brake is only meant to be used at a complete stop. Never while moving should the clutch be mashed hard to the floor applying the clutch brake. It will bust it apart or in most cases strip out the locking device on most of the 2 piece clutch brakes. The mechanic broke the one on my truck a couple months ago. It has one locking pin going into the shaft and that also happens to be the screw that holds the brake together. The tip of that screw goes into the shaft spline and will snap off very easily.

Plastic button on the roll pin stays after installation?

looks so easy on a trainer lol but in reality you have all the clutch dust falling all over your face and when you're trying to squeeze it together the fucker falls on the other side of the shaft and you have to spend 5 minutes trying to fish It out

any clown can do that//// now show how to remove the old one-piece one (preferably without torching it)
