I appreciate your explanation of this process.. I adjusted the clutch on my 2011 Pete 386/18 speed yesterday and got the clutch brake working well and had just a touch over .5" spacing but yet I had 2.25" of pedal travel. I was a bit worried since "everybody" says "no more than 2" free play".. After considering what it would take to adjust the linkage on my truck, I said screw that and left it alone.. I'm glad I did. Everything is working fine so I'm not worried about another .25" of free play.. Thanks again. Your videos are very helpful!!

Nice job. I understood everything you said. The video was fine, it showed what it needed too. You have a way of explaing things that's easy to absorb. If one is by the Mack book I can put my knee under the window winder and hold the pedal down like that. And I can shut the engine off if I need to to get one in gear and I've drove Macks for WAY too long. BUT any truck can be messed up too. Keep after it EZ and SOM. Right it right.
