hi may i ask u Whats is battling point? Thanks for the answer from Malaysia with respect
@ghostalpha28867 жыл бұрын
Biting point (which I think you're referring to) is where you put the clutch in, then throttle gradually to the point where you feel the back of the car dipping down slightly, the engine sound changes and you'd be ready to pull away, dependent on the RPM and whether you're on an even surface or an incline (uphill or downhill).
@እግዝኣብሄርጋሳየይዩ7 жыл бұрын
Ibnu Skyline hi bitting point is just when you hold the clutch of the car ready inorder to make the car ready for moving,but it is still not moving.

I suppose you could drive rudely like this in the UK too, but it is never to be recommended of course, and you likely would not last on the road very long, for it would be only a matter of time before you were pulled over and booked for careless or even dangerous driving by a Police Officer, and eventually be banned from driving by a magistrate. If you then drive after being banned, you may face prison.

Hi! When you're in 1st gear and you slowly raise the clutch you'll feel the rear of the car dip slightly and the engine sound changes and that's when you have the biting point. It's when the car feels like it wants to move.

My only issue with driving stick in traffic is when I'm in like 2nd gear and the car in front of me slows down a ton (6:09) and I either can stop compelty and put in first or clutch control in second but I always stall when I do the second option. The first option sucks in traffic cuz all the autos behind me don't realize and just honk at me. Ugh I'm so scared of driving in traffic

l would never stay with a bad instructor or driving school ! They have a duty of care to make sure you learn properly and that doesn`t include yelling and shouting, if more people stand up to these bullys the bad driving schools will get less pupils and make less money while the good ones will prosper !!!

Driving in the UK is so beautiful. It is actually a pleasure to drive around, even in cities. Here in America, (the only exception being an open road, like out in the countryside), it's just short of bloody Barbaric. We are not to Russia levels yet,(no offense intended to Mother Russia), but it is getting there swiftly. Everyday feels more like I am driving in a Third World country. America has the most dangerous road system of any developed country, because here, cars rule, bikers,cylists, pedestrians, all are at the mercy of the almighty motor vehicle. That is why it feels so prehistoric driving here, and such an exquisite experience in the UK.

Many people who live in central London are very wealthy. Non-wealthy people (even middle class) cannot really afford the housing costs of inner London. Even large parts of outer London, including Bromley, the "home" borough of this particular driving school, are still very expensive for housing costs, and space is at a premium. However, that aside, London is a great city.

I was wondering why my instructor always wants me to keep my leg on the clutch when I'm in first or even in higher gear when I am moving slowly even if I have more than enough speed to take the corner smoothly. You are doing it as I think it's supposed to be done - with little to no clutch and pressing it if you need to drive with less than 5 mph or if you need to fully stop. Thanks for making me sure that I am not doing something wrong.
@harveydeleon41526 жыл бұрын
Finally , thought i use my clutch too much, since i too am holding it with 1st gear and brake for about 3 to 8seconds, while waiting to make a right.or.left turn, to.let vehicles on their.right.of way to move first.

I passed a year ago and still watch your videos. I was driving at night over London Bridge when I first got my car and noticed three white flashing lights (positioned into a triangle). I didn't know what to do, got anxious and carried on driving until I was off the bridge. The oncoming traffic had a barrier come down before anything on my side did (unless I had passed it on the other end). I can't seem to find anything that looks like those lights anywhere online. I was wondering if you knew what they were for and what they mean? Many thanks in advance!

@worlddriving7 жыл бұрын
No I don't as this car doesn't need it. But in some cars it might be necessary for a smooth gear change.
@scorpA7X7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you're right as always. In a car of mine, especially with cold engine, i've a smooth gear changing if I do it. Thanks for the answer, really! I hope that in the future, in my city, will be instructors like you..I saw a driving of a friend of mine with his instructors, and he keep on saying that gas is not necessarily to go and that my friend must not use it...what? Now he can't drive a petrol car without some practice. :/

Great video Chris! I passed just before Christmas but I still watch every upload :) Just recently moved to Birmingham city centre which is much busier and more congested than where I used to live so this video was perfect timing :) Just wondering have you ever done a video on dealing with spiral roundabouts? If not I really hope you will. Roundabouts in general were my kryptonite learning to drive until I watched your video on how to deal with them and anticipating other road users. I actually watched it again just before my test and I encountered 7 roundabouts on the test in rush hour and managed them all perfectly! Spirals are relatively new to me and still leave me a bit nervous! Would love to see you make them easy like you do with everything else 😊
