Thanks, man!!! Didn't have to change master, but had to change the clutch pedal position switch. It is located at the top of the clutch pedal assembly. In order to install this, the whole Pedal assembly has to be removed. I stumbled upon your video that really helped me with the removal. Thanks again!!!

This is the perfect way to make a KZbin video. Clear views of everything. No time wasted. Thank you very much! I have a 2017 Chevy SS, but I assume it's pretty much the same setup since we both have an LS3. I'm thinking of upgrading to the Tick Performance master cylinder, already bought their clutch line, speed bleeder, slave cylinder spacers, and billet release bearing mod. My release system has failed, feels like the master cylinder to me, but to play it safe I just ordered all the parts and a new clutch since the transmission will come off the car sooner or later anyway. Now I can diagnose my master cylinder this afternoon and if it is the problem, be glad I can delay the transmission removal to a later day.

Thanks for posting this. It helped make my job replacing this and adding a remote reservoir for the clutch master cylinder much easier!

How much difficulty did you have bleeding the system?
@jesseguajardo90806 жыл бұрын
Luckily i did not have to bleed the system. As long as you dont engage the clutch pedal with the line off, you should avoid pumping in air. When i refilled the reservoir, i filled it slowly.

How many miles on this thing and why did it need to be replaced?
@jesseguajardo90805 жыл бұрын
I had about 55K miles, but it didnt need replacement. The issue was the retaining clip was not securing the line to the clutch master cylinder. All i really had to do was squeeze the clip in to have a tighter fit. Hasn't popped out since.

What made u change the clutch master cylinder
@jesseguajardo90803 жыл бұрын
I thought mine gave out but i came to find it was only the retaining clip that was causing the line to slip out and leak fluid.

I have a ? I have changed my clutch and bleed it but sometimes when I shift at high rpm clutch stick to floor
@jesseguajardo90803 жыл бұрын
@@bigblackd90 seems there is not enough fluid or may still have air in the system. Pedal going all the way to the floor would be the lack of pressure in the system.

What about bleeding it and clutch??
@jesseguajardo90803 жыл бұрын
Luckily i didnt have to bleed the system. As long as the pedal isnt pushed while the reservoir is off it shouldnt catch air. When i filled it back with fluid i poured it really slow.

I hate the whole clutch pedal and cylinder design. My position sensor started throwing codes and I hve to remove the whole pedal assembly and master cylinder to replace it.

Thanks for the video though! It'll help me take all this bs apart
